Can't believe the Ducks. Boudreau might be on death's row at this point. Caps/Pens tonight, not sure I like Caps having had 4 days off since their road trip. I expect a sluggish start.

Yeah, that was posted after we got whistled for 3 penalties in a row in the first. I didn't have much problem with the 3rd call, Alzner was reckless as shit with this stick. First call wasn't even close to an elbow, and second one I would be fine with it they weren't already on a PP, but Kessel makes sure to turn his back right as Orpik is coming for him. Guess refs got the memo afterwards how bad the first call was.
Sid looked like a bitch in that moment, clear as day. Fleury was a monster tonight, full credit. Grats on the win.

Habs Failed.. ( Was kinda rooting for them though ) I was at the Ducks Vs Stars.. Man I considered leaving after the 1st. Thinking the Stars were falling back into last season Trends..5 shutouts in 8 games doesn't help.
The thing is Frederik Andersen has pretty good stats so far.

Fuck if I know, I've barely been able to watch a game this season between work and social bullshit. So far I don't like anyone with anyone. Hopefully last night was a sign of things to come, because the whole team was playing lazy the first 8 games. Except Fleury, good or bad that guy is always trying at least.

Ah gotcha. Seems like that's the thing. Malkin keyed the win tonight too apparently, didn't get to watch any games. Fleury seems to have kept the ship stable enough for Geno to break them out of their funk.

Any combination of Sid/Geno/Hornqvist/Kessel should add up to a terrifying power play, at least once Sid/Horny get rolling(Hornqvist scored one tonight).
To start last season Hornqvist was doing his best Ovie impression by absolutely pouring shots on goal. Not sure when they decided to have him tone it down, he was probably hurting the team defensively. But it was fun to watch.
