Shit, there doesn't need to be tinfoil on to expect bad reffing. That's pretty much the standard. Maybe I shouldn't say all around bad, just completely not consistent. It'll be both ways too, just like it was for us and the Flyers.
Btw, laughable that it took 6 games of Schenn jumping into guys for the DOPS to finally have a hearing with him over it.

The tinfoil hat is in reference to the theory that the NHL is more fixed than boxing. Not that I support that theory per se, but I don't wanna lose my NYR fan card by going against the herd. Really suspicious sometimes though....

Feast or famine so far. Nailed Caps and Pens, Tampa needed only one line to beat Detroit, and Tavares (and some OT luck) carried the Isles.
Nailed the Blues, but Kings got smoked. Stars took one extra game, and same could be true of Anaheim if they get it done in Game 7 (although Boudreau in Game 7's at home not so great).

No, and it's a big change from how the NHL usually handles the Round 2 schedule. Still waiting to hear Caps/Pens schedule. Bieber being at Verizon Center Friday is messing a lot up. Could be a Yanni situation...heard rumors of back to back Sat and Sun night, or basic Thurs/Sat Games 1 and 2. Only problem with Thursday is they'd go head to head with the NFL Draft.

Kind of a free wheeling game, but jesus, so much talent on the ice. Fun stuff to watch but makes me sad to see how outclassed the Rangers have become.... I get excited when a pass goes through on the rush or one of our "stars" DOESN'T fan on a shot. Meanwhile Backstrom makes crazy plays like that pop pass to Ovie like nothing.

Enjoy Troy Brouwer, St. Louis. Although they got the Game 7 winner out of him (even if it took 3 chances at it), so I'm sure they're fine with the deal. They just might not get anything more.
Oshie with 4 goals and 3 assists in 7 games so far this playoffs.
Holy fuck though, the miscues in this game, both ways. Ovechkin needs to just shoot on those short breakaways. Puck rolls on him every damn time he goes to his backhand and with his curve he never gets it up. Also Jason Chimera reverting to true Stone Hands.
