Hoglander from the Nucks was a hot rumor a month or so ago with 3 or 4 teams supposedly interested. Didn't really hear any follow up on it, might have just been feelers being sent out or to Vancouver if he was available or not.

Nashville has already traded 4 guys but they are cheaper pending UFA/RFA. They ain’t moving no one with those contracts.

Habs have been playing really well recently, we are actually close to a wildcard spot. I doubt we will make it but it’s nice to see us playing well at least. Laine gave us some balance up front, and we finally are getting secondary scoring with Evans, Heineman and Arnia. Low profile trade of Baron for Carrier helped a lot too, Carrier is very reliable defensively which we needed and a bit of experience with 250 games, compared to the rest of the young guys.
And finally, a backup that can stop pucks, we’ve been patient with Primeau but the jump between AHL to NHL has been very hard for him. Dobes first 2 starts have been very solid with 2 wins, one a shutout and the other giving only one goal to avalanche on the power play.
I still think we’re missing a few pieces to get back to playoff regularly but we’re getting close, I think Demidov is going to be great next year, he’s doing great in KHL despite barely having any ice time.
