Thanks Toronto! Ovechkin definitely going to need a few games to get up to speed, but hey, empty netter to seal the win and the Chase continues.

Holy hell we need to extend Chychrun. That contract is going up every period.

I'll have to admit it but the Caps are pretty impressive this year with the 2nd fewest loses in the entire league.

I don't think anyone wants to face them in the playoffs.

He looked a little out of it first game back, more there tonight. Goal was pretty vintage odd man rush, just let him power it through. They gotta figure out the PP with him back, though. They're trying a mix of personnel from what we were using while he was out. Frankly I think they just realized Chychrun is too important to keep off the ice 5 on 4.

Slight break for us, only 14 in January, only 1 back to back, with the 3 and 4 and 4 and 6. But otherwise not nearly as bad.
