Yeah, that first goal against him had me scratching my head some.... And I know there are other Canadian goalie options that could have been had.

And yeah, that empty net goal was offsides by around a foot by my estimation. I just think at that point they weighed the "how much will this affect the outcome of the game" against "Do we want some blood on the ice in the last minute of play" and opted to take the chicken approach.

Probably the deepest dline in the history of an international tournament.

However I heard he can't play unless one of the others is scratched due to injury or illness. I heard McAvoy might be scratched but he went off in the first meeting so Id hate to see him go.

McAvoy is out for the rest of the tournament, which is why Quinn was called up.

Won’t be shocked if one of the US defenseman are “sick” tomorrow and then they can call in Hughes. Once he’s added to the roster the “sick” player will be feeling good again. Canada did this, so why can’t we.
