Leafs fans always got tears. Thank god the roles weren't reversed at that game because they'd be crying all the way to the bank because of refs. You don't call the most blatant hold on Brayden Point because we're up 3 points but you call a trip in OT. Hockey refs gonna hockey though so whatever. Leafs fans with the exception of good ol

I think Boston is actually susceptible in playoff hockey. I feel like if Toronto can get past the first round anything is possible.

If you don't understand the reaction from Leafs fans about all the history considering the score then I assume you are new to the game since Tampa started their cup runs. It doesn't matter about ref's or penalities or "who deserved to win" or any of it. I have been watching this team since the late 80's, I have seen it all minus a cup. If you had actually watched the Bruins / Panthers series, heres what I will tell you. Boston wants to play neither of these teams next round.

I know all about Leafs fans and their desperation. I get why they have so many shit fans. When you have a franchise as old and rooted (and as bitter) as them you're bound to get a ton of shitters. Its why I despise most New York fans. But at least they're pretty funny.
One thing I don't fault Leafs for is their passion. I despise our fandom sometimes and the lack of passion compared to the other big markets.
I was a Red Wings fan growing up in the 90s playing roller hockey watching The Mighty Ducks. I remember getting a franchise here and being excited as fuck. I remember our first cup win, the absolute devastation of the 2019 series, and everything in between. Not to mention the back to back which was so special because the first one felt like it didn't count without the fans. It was the ultimate redemption arc.
