Lots of Canadians around the Panthers yet they don’t have anywhere near the Lightning numbers…and I’m a Panther fan.
The population base in general around the Lightning is orders of magnitude larger.
Uh no. I’ve lived in both areas. You’re talking Tampa (Hillsborough/Pinellas) vs the South Florida region which is Broward, Palm Beach, and Miami-Dade counties. Sunrise is located in the middle of the tri-county area which is why they put the arena there. The population base in general around the Lightning is orders of magnitude larger.

I’m not sure if you’re talking walking distance from the arena or something? Even giving your claim the most favorable light I think “orders of magnitude” is ridiculous.

If I'm reading these numbers right we have a much higher population density, which kind of tracks. The east side of Florida is basically populated from Daytona down to key west. Much more spraed out then our ball sack on the west. Although city wise Miami has to be denser then Tampa.Uh no. I’ve lived in both areas. So lower is denser? Sorry I'm somewhat of a retard.
