When you upgrade ships they have larger inventories, or at least, you should upgrade to a ship with a larger inventory.

You can purchase inventory upgrades to your own self at the cost of 0 for the first one +10k credits for each additional inventory slot. You'll find the upgrade device at drop ships on planet surfaces, and behind Atlas locked doors on space stations.

Drop pods on planet surfaces have suit inventory upgrades. Each upgrade costs +10k over the previous cost. Something like 3+ mil to fully expand inventory to 48 slots. Also the most expensive ships also with 48 slots cost about 8.5 mil but good luck finding one.

There's also an inventory slot upgrade unit in each space station behind the Atlas Pass v1 doors.

anyone playing keyboard and mouse? I can't seem to get discard item to work, my inventory is full my ship is damaged so I'm kind of stuck

Just checked it on my game, worked for me. Threw out a whole stack of heridium on accident!

Nevermind about the ~8mil max ship thing... just saw a 36 mil ship with 43 slots on a stream.

I'm REALLY enjoying this discovering language thing. Slowly one word at a time. I found a big monument with 3 little discoveries around it and it gave me an option to kill a thing or leave it alone, but I could actually read 4 of the words it used and it was oddly exciting, lol.

This game is all exploration and it's exactly what I wanted. I welcome any future patches they come out with.

Looks like a problem with older architecture. I can confirm since I'm running AMD Phenom II X6 and shit just crashes on startup.

If you're even thinking about buying this game, torrent it FIRST, make sure you can get it to at least run, then buy it.

Won't work for me, same crash to desktop on logo problem that everyone else is having.

I'm done with it for today, I somehow fucked up the quest sequence because I found a ship and switched to it and it stuck telling me to do something with they hyper-drive and doesn't apply to the ship I'm on. I may just try to find a way to delete the save and start over this weekend

I wish I had more than two hours before I had to decide on the refund. Since you have to completely leave the game after every graphics change I've spent most of that time trying to figure out what's wrong with the graphics. I don't know when the cutoff is, but at some point the game doesn't actually render at the resolution you select it just upscales which is why it looks so bad at higher resolutions. At 3440x1440 the game looks exactly like it's running at 1080p and scaled to my higher resolution, which looks like ass.

I did find something interesting, though. Using DSR at 4x breaks whatever upscaling they are using and forces the game to render natively. The vasoline filter completely disappears and the game is nice and crisp looking, too bad it's basically unplayable at that point.

I'll give them a week or so to see if they acknowledge the issue, otherwise I can't justify paying for a game that looks worse at max settings on a high end rig than the PS4 version.

Yeah, the game will eventually recognize you don't have the blueprint and send you somewhere to get it, but that definitely breaks the chain.

Best thing to do is just rush the blueprint for hyperdrive straight off.

I agree with this. With GOG drm free copies freely available to torrent at this point, and I would rarely if ever suggest this but in this case I think its fair, there's no reason not to.

The download is like 3gb. Its tiny.

Space is so gorgeous, and some of the planets are too, but sometimes the textures just look like absolute ass when on foot

I've been getting freezes every 15-45 minutes at random. Can't figure it out. CPU is not over heating, neither is my GPU. F!
