The real player on a potential war with NK will be China. In the event of a modern warn on the peninsula, you really don't think china will stand by and let the USA control the the whole peninsula. Im guessing it will end up witch China annexing a big portion of the territory and South Korea expanding north, like Germany after ww2.

My dad lived near Edwards AFB and I remember the first time I saw that thing flying around. I was probably around 12 or so, and it was one of the coolest things to see for a kid my age. It definitely is intimidating looking

I think it's hilarious that they make such a big deal over the B-2 being there when F-15E's can carry nukes and have been rotating to South Korea for quite a while. Don't think an F-15E has ever dropped one during testing, but it IS nuclear capable. 16's may be able to as well but haven't worked on those.
Well, if it came time to nuke something, I don't think you guys really need a plane to deliver the weapon(s). B-2s still carry a pretty damned big conventional payload don't they?

The insurgency in Iraq happened because Paul Bremer disbanded the Iraq army overnight and did not allow the Baath Party to stay in a leadership role.
A million man Chinese army stopped us dead in our tracks during the Korean War and I doubt they have changed their minds. China has always seen Korea as a buffer from the west.

I have no doubt that the first time these dipshits try and launch anything with a nuclear payload, every launch facility will be reduced to glass within the hour. Even China can't have them doing that kind of bullshit now that they are tied into the world economy along with the rest of us. Problem is while they have the ability to make nukes, the ability to successfully arm and detonate them from guided missiles is a whole other level of complexity. They are about as likely to nuke themselves as they are their neighbors, unless someone with the tech sold it to them in a moment of weakness, like the crumbling USSR or some shit like that. North Korea is a three pronged fuckup. Chine fucked up in propping them up for so long, the world community fucked up for isolating them to the point where one retard has an entire nuclear arsinal brainwashed to this level, and the US fucked up for wasting all of our political will and military might chasing non-existant threats in Iraq when we should have been on this.
Basically, the first rogue state to actually launch a fucking nuke is going to be the first state nuked entirely back into the stone age by the collective beatdown of every other major nuclear power on the planet. The real question is if said nukings result in a larger focus on the role of nuclear deterrants in the world or everyone goes full retard from that moment on. My guess is that India and Pakistan will want in on the action and probably take down a lot of the middle east with them. Cue the energy crisis, and we are all back to the barter system again...

Its just amazing how manipulated people can be. I mean a sizable portion of the country(border guards, foreign dignitaries, those who interact with foreigners) sees and hears about our modern technologies and ways of life yet they all still believe the DPRK is the communist workers paradise of never ending pleasure and life.
