I think the 10700 (non K) for $300 is better. The 5-9% boost you get from overclocking the 10700k is not worth the $100 extra for the 10700k.Oh sorry it was the 9900k. Slickdeals

Not sure how I feel about this. This doesn't look to be conducive to the position of my radiator and fans...
Seems like you should be just doing water cooling, since your case is basically not a case. Maybe I'm remembering wrong.

If you are looking for something simple but really functional, check out the Be Quiet 500DX. Easily the best $100 case I've had.
