I mean, McCree constantly being picked by pros probably says more than all of our opinions, haha.

And honestly I think she should have 150 like Zen so she's equally as squishy and able to actually be killed by something other than another widow/winston.

What makes him OP to me is how quiet his footsteps are, most of the time I don't even hear him.

Krovvy, I was shielding prior to the engagement and he'd still mow through it.

So you motherfuckers in Discord, get some comms. It's nice being able to just get better players to play with in general, but for me personally, I like getting insights to my team. I play a lot of D.Va, and tend to play her like a bruiser/harasser, spending most of my time flushing out widows, peeling, or blocking for a specific dude. That's just my default though, so being in game with others would be nice if I'm not catching something. IE, like my McCree is being focused by some dude, or if Bastion moved and I didn't pinpoint him yet.

As far as normal scrub games go, I'm getting into a better flow, by simply disrupting enemies that most casuals have issues with. Widows and Bastions specifically; being able to fly up on a point, knock back Widow or fly behind Bastion and gun him down usually gives me a much better chance at our team being able to push than me escorting.

But yea, if you're in Discord, you people better have mics!

Edit: Oh and McCree seems real weird. I don't play a lot of the offense dudes, since I'm mostly tank/heals, but I grabbed him the other day when defending, and he feels like he does as much dmg as widow. Like, I already have issues on the fact that you can roll right up to the defenders doors, but we camped outside and as soon as the doors opened, I had a double kill, almost accidentally. I just fired inside and it was like fish in a barrel.

I mean that's not really enough of a sample size to comment on balance but I was surprised as fuck.

I've yet to play with you, but massively agreed. The groups I have played with(non-rerollers) have been in comms, and it makes a crazy difference and for intense games and combo's. The most Team Kill I have ever seen. I've been in comms with Crone and TJT, but thats the extend of it.

As for Hanzo's arrow being "tree" sized, as someone who plays pretty much exclusive Hanzo.. I'd have to disagree. I know I, and probably many others, pull of ridiculous shots.. but there are a lot of misses and supposedly head shots that are actually body shots. I won't deny I throw a shot into the wind and get someone, but when it comes down to a Hanzo v Hanzo, I can guarantee that it's mostly spend jumping and missing.. a lot. Same with things like Genji and such. Headshots are by no shortage either though. I can land a pretty decent spray and get the tink noise with Tracer or 76 pretty frequent; so landing that arrow isn't too far off.

His ult as well, is probably a 2/10 all-star ult. If you're getting caught out by it, its just a positional thing. It has a loud sound queue, so people usually scatter from the direction. I have landed my fair share of multi-kills with it but more than half the time its casted, its pretty much a golden railway for my team to move up.

Doing a little McCree I feel dirty as fuck, but damn you can counter so much and so useful as a ult stopper. If only I could play Widow decently but I have always sucked and been bored with sniping in FPS games.

Overtime is such a ball buster btw. Team managed to get their shit together at the end of the match, but they still sucked, so one more hail mary from the other team threw us into overtime. And not so much the OT, but the thing that causes the timer to reset kept going. So that seconds from winning thing becomes another minute +. Like, wut do man.

I feel my best games lately have been when I play Lucio. He's such a bad ass, and I wish there was a "damage" version of him, with like Chords of Dissonance! Then I play with other Lucio's, and they are so terrible, and never heal anything.

We really don't need discord - just use open mic in game and we're good to go. The in game voip system isn't bad at all.

Eh, discord is still far superior imo; really any voip but discord reigns over all at the given moment XD.

I mean, in the grand scheme of things.. its all really minor, but the ability to not be disconnected from comms because you were dropped/game crash is always a plus. A game we played earlier today Kiroy, we had a guy that had the open mic in game, maybe it didn't bother you but the white noise coming from his mic made me want to choke a fucking baby. It was part of the reason I had dipped, and invited you to another party. It has a sensitivity option, so you can adjust that it doesn't pick up ambient noises in the back. Overwatch's ingame just turns your mic on, so all static and whitenoise blares through. I also like the ability to control individual volume, because some people are loud and/or obnoxious, so I can tone them down so they aren't so dominate when they talk. None of these options present themselves in the game in-voice.

Like a small few as well, b.net friendlist is huge and there is little to no organization when it comes to it either. I mean sure we can organize and group via forum but it losses its instantaneous factor that you would say in a "General" asking LFG or LFM.

To each their own though, I'm just pushing my agenda. I prob won't bother w/ in-game until they either had a community option or more friends list organization.. because "Favorites" just doesn't cut it. I often times find myself talking to myself when using in-game because I forgot to hit the mic button anyways haha.

I don't use in game anything, just because I don't want to talk to all the randoms, or be subjected to the inane kiddie chat.

Also, it's not like I am telling people to get on discord. We're on discord already, just like, be able to talk back to me.

I'm far from good at this game, but being able to hear the minute details of where people are coming/shooting/invading from is really good.

My list of stuff I'd change:

Damage falloff curve on turrets with range.

Bevel off V corners in some of the maps. Have gotten hung on geometry in a few spots (though mostly everything is pretty smooth).

Fix (somehow) not being able to see your health in areas with bright floors.

Fix Zenyatta's broken bounds. Arrows within 10 feet hit him. Some widowmaker's expect this and can appear to shoot you through things, but really it's just that you can aim way above his head and still hit him. My guess is his root bone is at the hip, and his bone collision capsules aren't animating with the bones (in T pose).

Investigate surround sound. I've had a bunch of situations where I'm being damaged and my rear speakers aren't playing the sound behind me. I need to find a way to record vids with surround audio so I can make sure it isn't just me not paying attention. Only seems to happen with rockets and reaper shotguns.

People being dragged along by Rein's pin move should be able to use a counter move to get out if they have one.

Krovvy/Valderan we ran into you guys last night, I was playing with some questionably skilled work friends. Your Hanzo is disgusting.

I am really digging Zarya. D'va is still my go to choice on maps that are sniper/hanzo happy, because she can gap close really well and get up on high ledges. But for king of the hill maps or some of the other payload/objective maps on offense, Zarya is a beast. Once you get to high energy, you can melt the other team and her rclick is awesome for taking out people around corners. Plus, her black hole ultimate can be a game changer. The other day I was using that, then Vehn was using Pharah ult and we basically would wipe the enemy team

I have this bad habit of accidentally running right into the middle of the fight instead of stalking around in the side rooms and alleyways.

Still learning the ways.

I tend to play Mercy when I am with Rerolled people because it's the character I am the best at.

I am playing others when solo queueing to try and get better with them, I don't mind dragging down a pug group but I don't want to do it to you guys.

I already figured out I suck at Widowmaker and Hanzo, my targeting skills are not that good.

I'm doing decent with Reaper and Tracer, I tried Zarya a few times and I like her.

I'd like to have at least 1 decent character in each role, so I can fill whatever is needed and not hog Mercy and the support role.
