I hate to ask about this here. but I've spent quite a while looking for answers on google and other forums ect.. So I'm a bit desperate as this bug essentially makes the game unplayable.

Starting a couple days ago i suddenly found my screen going black mid fight. Everything but the UI. It seems to happened usually 5-10 minutes into a match. On nearly every match.

All i find online are a ton of people bitching about this issue. BUT mostly back in 2016. Not a single actual answer to why it happens or how to fix seriously solve it though.

I run on a basic 1080p/60fps monitor with a RX 580. According to the data it seems rather hard to believe i's an issue with my card as it's not getting stressed at all in terms of temp or vram. Usually hovering in the 0.5-1.5gb usage range for vram and temp in the mid 40s to about 60Degrees C.

I used to have a similar issue when I would eject from DVA's mech a few months ago. When was the last time you updated your drivers?

great players != great team.

This has been proven in pro sports and esports. Guys like Seagull and xQc can be amazing players, but if you have clashing personalities/people don't trust the shot caller/people don't trust their teammate to get the job done, then your results as a team typically suck. Watching Dallas Fuel, you can see that they are capable of great plays and skill, but they lack coordination at times and play like it is a pub.

I just updated a day or two before this issue started popping up. ON the old AMD drivers it never happened. However i got very strange frame rate drops down from a locked 60 to often 30-40 and occasionally under 10 for a few seconds.

It is on fullscreen. I guess ill give it a shot. ut i really do prefer FS>

You could always try border-less windowed mode as an alternative to FS

I do bordless windowed but i multi task a lot. I still get 150-180 fps in borderless windowed tho. my buddy had a problem with full screen being minimized and wouldnt open until I told him to hit alt+enter and do bordless windowed. dunno its just an option!

and yeah teamwork is key. thats why I like watching OWL, it reminds me of when I did 5v5 in WoW, was all about line of sight, strategy and coordinated strikes to prevent survival of the target, so it's cool to see how and where they go etc.

I know a lot of 3500+ players but when I play with them they are solo players and just kill everyone which sometimes works sometimes doesnt.

Welp, i changed some graphics settings, turned MSI afterburner back to stock setting ( I only used a very marginal OC anyways).

After about 4-5 Matches and 30 minutes in the training ground this has held up... so far at least....

One thing i would recommend anyone else new to the game is try every hero at least a couple times. It makes it so much easier having first hand knowledge of what they can and can't do well. Just knowing where the damage falloffs for abilities lies is amazingly useful.

Edit: Apparently, he was going to be on the bench again anyways so it doesn't matter.

Yeah, i'm guessing it was something bad but it's hard to tell what he was talking about to be honest.

Seems sorta odd to me for punishing a player for using bad language in what is essentially i think "practice" imagine if they did that in sports? rofl

The player he's telling to "suck a fat cock" is openly gay, so ya GL with that battle. I wouldn't be surprised if Blizzard nails xQc's ass to the wall as an example of dealing with OW's toxicity discussion, not sure how many times this autist can genuinely fuck up in such a spectacular manner.

XQC got a 4 game suspension and a 2k fine from OWL. The league overruled the Fuel's suspension.

The Dallas Fuel is hot garbage.

XQC is gone for the entire stage now. Stage 2 starts on Febuary 10th. I bet if he acts up on his stream during his suspension he gets released. The odds are strong he fucks up again.

Mickie is totally the weak link on the fuel. I like this Seagul/Effect/Taimou lineup better than anything else they've been playing
