on the reverse side of the coin, im sick of terrible dps and terrible tanks just getting free passes. Moiras who over extend the whole game and die over and over, the xens who don't discord/heal at all, tanks who have no idea how to either dive or protect their backline. And no matter what happens, its always 'dps change pls u suck'.

The game really needs some sort of proper stats.

I had a pretty good one in comp a couple days ago. Playing the only support, and they would constantly have a Tracer harassing me with not a single person bothering to try and fend her off. So I'd die a lot. "Mercy why are you throwing?" I was forced to go onto Moira just because of Fade, they were that bad about protecting their back line, particularly the toxic person bitching the whole match claiming I was throwing because I couldn't magically make a stuck Pulse Bomb disappear and wasn't right on their ass for their 1v4 fighting. Their Tracer knew what they were supposed to be doing (keeping me out of the picture), yet I'm bad because of it. Although, it was funny when one of the DPS called that person a Hanzomain because of it. :D

By the time the match ended (we won, barely), I had about 13k healing, which was ONE FIFTH of the total damage we took. Apparently that's a bad thing and I should have had far more healing, despite the fact I spent about a fifth of the match dead due to them not being bothered to watch for people going straight for me as the only support.

So yeah, I'm tired of terrible dps and tanks getting free passes too. If the support dies from flanking or harassment, it's clearly not their fault!

Shanghai has no Diya and fighting Seoul ... this will be short

Or not? !

They are accidentally broadcasting shanghai's comms, or maybe both teams. Can hear it even during the break.

Hopefully they don't say anything embarrasing. GP2 engine!

The new host is much better than the other dude. He doesn't come off as a fake.

Go Gladiators. What a great match, Hannamura was awesome insane hold on point B for Valiant, Unkoe had time to build two transcendance.

1-0 Gladiators.

Why can't the Gladiators be a Chicago team? I hate rooting for a LA team. lol

Fissure is so damn good. It is awesome to watch him play Winston. He has such great timing on going in and getting out just in time.

Edit: Played some on PTR and Cancer Comp is even worse with Brigette. Bastion + Symm with Brigettte's Ult shields and SG... FML

Gladiators got their revenge against Valiant for that reverse sweep loss in Stage 1 with a 4-0 win.

It was a great game.

I agree Fissure is amazing, so far probably the most impactful of the people that have been added for Stage 2.

I was watching his stream the other day. I was impressed by the communication, very simple stuff but was so efficient. It was on Hannamura defense. On point A, he was playing Orissa and other tank was Roadhog. He was constantly asking if hook was ready before using Orissa's mini-grav and going 3-2-1 and it worked almost all the time with Roadhog landing a hook. Such simple communication yet so efficient.

On point B, he switched to Winston and Roadhog switch to D'va...it was the same thing. He was constantly asking D'va if she had boost ready, then he would count 3-2-1 and name a target they would both dive together. Again so simple but it worked so well.

I wish I had this level of communication in my games. :)

Ya some moiras need to recognize when they overcommitted and are gonna die and not do it again. Blowing all ur cooldowns to get a kill then be a sitting duck and die as well. Overextending too. But takes practice and people pointing out youre overextending or not aware of your surroundings.

Interesting, it seems xQc is considering leaving OWL. He seems to think he’s the reason for the Dallas Fuel's problem. I don’t know if he’s the problem, I think they have way more issues then just him, but he’s probably not helping.

He’s one of the most popular Overwatch streamer right now, he’s probably making more from streaming then in OWL, so he probably doesn’t give a shit about the league and all the restriction it’s putting on him.

best thing for both parties

I remember kyky talking about some fuel player and how he didn't need to worry about them 'eating', he was half joking but also went unsaid '.. in comparison to xqc'. He just seems really emotionally immature (late, vlogging everything, being loud and irritating, not eating properly), in combination with having absolutely no common sense and dialling it back on streaming and his constant verbal diarrhoea. Like even these last few days he's called an opponent who beat them a retard, typing in discord that he got yanked in and hadn't scrimmed all week, talked about being punished by OWL before any announcement was made (and I think before he told his team?), and talking about leaving etc.

Can you imagine managing that shit fest. Also in combination with effect who seems like the ultimate tilter, taimou who has his own autism issues, chips and coco who are legit mutes, and harry whos english seems to be getting worse if thats actually a thing. What a dumpster fire

Dallas is where they belong. They were overhyped. XQC is a good player, but he isn't an upper echelon OWL tank. Mickie I think suffers from XQC because he looked fine playing with Taimou. For all the hours XQC puts into streaming he should be taking some of those hours and work with Mickie. It's clear he values streaming more than his professional career.

Dallas is supposed to be signing OGE, a Korean tank player, so this may all be a ruse because XQC is going to be riding the bench for the longterm.

I don't know what Dallas's problem is really. They got eaten alive by Danteh and never switched up to counter. He was so careful on Sombra I'm not even sure a McCree guard could catch him out, but they should have at least tried. Even Babybay looked good against them.

If I ran any team I'd get a full 12 for internal scrimmery and split the teams for the upcoming map pools and opponents. Some of the teams are going to be very readable (Philly) so you can go in with a gameplan and a backup or two. London does this and they probably don't even need to. A lesser team should be using every advantage.

I'm sure if Dallas is planning on benching him which looks that way, especially if they sign a new tank, he would prefer to just stream which make sense since he would make more that way.

It will be interesting to see what happens if he streams during OWL matches, he usually pulls around 10K viewers. OWL would be pissed if OWL viewership is down by 10K when he streams. :)

Dallas is going nowhere anyways, too many "stars" on the team, no team cohesion, no leadership, no identity.

Is Quick Play the fastest way to level or should I be doing these Arcade modes too?

PS. D-va seems OP as fuck, from the viewpoint of someone new/fresh to the game.

Quickplay or Mystery Heroes are probably your best bet if you're looking for exp and a chance to learn the game. You get wtf comps in Mystery Heroes, but it forces you to learn all the heroes or at least get familiar with how they work (which helps when you play against them). Mystery heroes is also good at teaching you how to avoid death...if you get a hero you like, you try to avoid dying since you lose that hero and get a random one when you respawn.

Yeah I've been doing mystery heroes, got my 3 loot boxes from those Arcade matches too. Pretty fun and I think I know at least the basic abilities of most heroes so far.

I find I enjoy Soldier the most (basic FPS noob that I am), but also Reinhardt is pretty fun. I played Roadhog for 2 mins in a Mystery match (had never tried him before) and he seems pretty fun too.

all of the characters are fun in different ways really. The objectively unfun characters (bastion, torb, sym basically) are fun when used in the right ways but man is it tilting to get say a sym in mystery heroes on hanamura attack..
