I bet that they realised that they didn't have the ability to pull off a decent schedule compared to Fortnite, so like you say yhey bundled 2 years worth of work into one patch for marketing reasons.

It's one last payday from the game and a shot to revive it's popularity so they can get more funding/staff internally to work on it.

This is what happens when you try to maximise profits, short term they save money and long term the IP is dead.

Beyond the core rewards and trying to challenge yourself on harder content, probably not much. But they are also fairly simplistic- I suppose it remains to be seen how complex or content rich the PVE side of OW2 ends up being.

Hey Chris Chris , man, you hit the nail on the head about Overwatch and Blizzard's strategy. It's kind of frustrating to see how they've managed—or rather, mismanaged—the updates for the game.
By the way, if you're looking for a change of pace while waiting for OW2, you might want to consider checking out New World. It's an entirely different experience, but it has its own allure. And if you're concerned about catching up or making the most out of your game time, ..amod edit…offers some cool hacks that can make your life in Aeternum a bit easier.

The ultimate battle pass this season is kinda stupid. I could understand last season because it included the PvE content. This season it's the only way to get the Moira Lilith skin. I could understand if the collaboration was made outside of blizzard. From what I know outside collaboration want to get a pretty big part of the profit. I mean this is a collaboration from inside blizzard...

Some good players have been banned for various hurty words etc. Shame. Saudi had an amazing Pharah specialist I was looking forward to watching.

I think one of the sons of Fragi was excluded as well, not sure, Finland is after this match.

It was setup all wrong. It should have been all regional and the best teams of the region get together once a year to determine the champ. It's a proven esports formula from other leagues.

There were just to many shitty teams also. Maybe one good match a weekend. Late round world cup had the best matches of the year and were better then owl playoffs
