Kungen has started streaming it. Old school EQ player. He started in EQ and was leader of the guild Nihilum which I think was the top 1 guild in WoW in 06-08 and world champions in PvP.

Honestly.. and Ill probably get flamed by its fan base for saying this. But I bought Alpha 1, and have Alpha 2 for AOC.. and Pantheon is WAYyyyy further along than AOC. I mean, AOC looks, cosmetically, better - but functionality wise? Pantheon has a much stronger code base and thats surprising af to me.

I don't understand how they could fuck a 'SoW' type spell up so badly. Like bro I just want to hit auto run and get places faster while I half pay attention to the game, not be forced to continue to pay attention to an endurance bar and juggle sprinting and running so I don't go exhausted.

Because Sprint isnt SoW.
1. SoW is coming to the game with Druid in the next "major" update.
- Shamans have a Sprint enhancement buff
2. Sprint itself isnt how they "thought" it would act out with players. They plan on redesigning it.

One criticism I have is that the first dungeon/cave is not memorable at all. Blackburrow and Crushbone were EPIC! This cave is just meh. I haven't seen any higher level stuff, maybe it gets better.

You were in BB/Crush/Unrest longer than here - I feel people forgot how long it took to get level 20 in EQ for the commoner - heck many people didnt know surnames were just something @ level 20 - and people were bugging last name people as GMs etc.
While this game is nice, I got to 4, in a little play time this morning - thats great and all, but the pace, while not WOW speed, is indeed faster than EQ classic classic OG... not that, that is bad - but back in the day you LIVED in BB/Crush etc. for quite a long time.

Nope, probably didn't get very far. But you know, first impressions and all. Nothing made me excited to explore further. I just checked some random videos and Halnir's Cave looks pretty nice, so it seems it does get better.

Yeah I'm talking about the Shaman buff. The wiki, which I assume is just horribly outdated, listed it as a run speed buff ("Accelerate the target's Movement Speed by 25% to 40% based on your level for 1h."). So at some point it went from 'SoW' like to the pile of shit it is now.

Eats my Mac’s ram for breakfast- but that’s most likely crossover - and that i am running windowed and going back and forth doing work.
I may turn down the visuals to low, see if it helps- or if it’s just sucking up whatever is available. And, again, old man clouds etc- i like grass but… can I turn that off lol
