Someone pulled the $10k pledge.
Damn, when I looked at it 30 minutes age it was still around +3k for today.
Yup! But hey, this Kickstarter would of probably worked back in 1999.As I said on the Kickstarter comments, whatever class/race updates they have lined up they need to just release now. Sod this one little item of boring-was-obiously-in-the-game stuff. Do they think the world is hanging on their every word?"Oooooh a Cleric class, I can't wait to find out what class reveal is next". Hell no, anyone interested before the Kickstarter assumed all the classes and everyone else doesn't give a shitthey just want information.
Updates should be about new information, stuff that's happened since you first learned of the Kickstarter. All 1,514 backers knew the moment they read it there was going to be a Shadow Knight class, you need to tell thema week later.

I had to pull my $10k backing the other day because of the way things are going. This game is going downhill before it even starts. I was writing an email to Brad with a bunch of questions so I could bump back up to $10k so that I wouldn't artificially inflate the overall pledge in the meantime. I can't in good faith back this game in any way. I will be even pulling my $45 pledge, Brad has a long long way to go in order to get any real backing. I hope he starts over, until then good luck all.
I don't think so. Everyone in the industry knows who Brad is. They've already dismissed funding him outright because of his history and lack of new ideas, so they're not going to be surprised we did as well. I don't think $1M from this KS was going to encourage any of them to gamble 10M on VR.no, the saddest thing is that if this doesn't get funded, especially by a large margin, it will send a message to 'industry' professionals and indie devs alike that there is no demand for a title like this.
Two were pulled. I assumed they were troll pledges anyways, waiting for the perfect troll moment to dump them...which would be now.Someone pulled the $10k pledge.
That's why its so shocking that not one person on the team thought to shit out a quick zone with basic art, a couple mobs, one building etc, and physically SHOW US what they want to do for our money. I'm in my first year of my CS degree and I know enough of the Unity engine to at least create a semi-zone using placeholders as art. It's amazing what amateur devs whip up in Unity in a short period of time.
Hate... where are you at in Indy brother? Im in fishers 104th and allisonville. We should grab a beer. Ill bring my laptop so we can send selfies to kickstarter.......Two were pulled. I assumed they were troll pledges anyways, waiting for the perfect troll moment to dump them...which would be now.

Agreed man. I don't get it..Dark Knight? Really? And even the description given is absolutely week. Either their PR guy is choking out their info so he can get exposure in large publishing, which is not great for a kick starter or they really don't have anything and they are making stuff up as they go. I'm honestly not sure at this point, but Dark Knight is REALLY bad.
You dont need a source Quinn. He is more attributed to the failure that is Vanguard now than any past success he had with EQ. Its harsh, but the reality. go on any forum he posted on and you will see the trolls come out of the woodwork...Source?
To be fair, haven't a constituency of former EQ players said for years this idea would sell itself? It seems like they thought that this idea or "vision" would sell itself.
