Like noted before went fro 250 to 45 , honestly unless you are one of the 300 sold out , why not drop it to 45 and let Brad and Co know to shape the fuck up on amateur hour Kickstarter ?

Along those lines I'd go back to 250 or higher if enough was changed on how they run the next few weeks.

Hi Dan,

But you still need to get the message out to those people and have a sound plan in place right? A kickstarter with just the pledge of being the next EQ next with Brads name on it is just not enough.

There's how many people on this project? 10 they said? What the fuck are these 10 people doing? It's week two and we barely have any information. Not to mention they started working 4 months prior to launching the KS page? From what I've seen so far, I'd say one guy could easily do all of it, two if you include the generic guy asking questions in the QA.

Kinda comical a mod designer for Arma (Dean Hall) can pull off a ton of Alpha sales for DayZ SA but Brad might not even reach 300k for his project.

I would like to see it get to their goal but I highly doubt it -I hope I get proven wrong.

I'm glad they have a supportive place to go.. Brad still comes here for perspective tho.. That's all that matters to me. Keep it critical but fair IMO... I'm on the fence about dropping a pledge tho.. I'm still supportive of this project and feel like long term that may do more harm than good.. The biggest question you have to ask, kickstarter aside, is can this team make the game we all want? I personally still believe they can but I totally understand all the doubt.. They aren't helping themselves.

Fuck it , I pulled my pledge entirely. Keeps me from being able to rage at the idiots on the KS thread.

Also you get to fill out a question of why are you pulling your pledge ? I said in short version the shitty way the KS is being ran and I'd be back in if it became better presented.

Maybe they actually will read that feedback.

There are plenty of slots left on all the possible tiers I want in on anyway.

The constituency of former EQ players are all now much older, wiser (for the most part...) and less likely to be baffled by industry bullshit. We can see through it much easier. Sure, we'll get excited about the promise of a hardcore EQ like MMO from the guy who put out EQ - but once the rubber hits the road and you are asking for us to pony up some of our paychecks... well, you better have something to show.

So far this has been total weaksauce.

I would like a source to know if he even tried to get funded by a major publisher since he left SOE last year. Because if he didn't it's just a fucking bullshit statement.

I just wish for once they'd just have a Paladin and Cleric class and have the EVIL versions of these be fallen paladins aka death knights/dark knights/shadowknights/doomknights/ebon knights/black people/oh wait and the evil clerics be goddamned evil. I want my dark elf cleric that worships the god of hate to have HATE RELATED POWERS not the same HAPPY FLOWER POWER as the clerics of the god of love and faggotry.
