Bias aside, he has a point.

Assumingthe list and qualifications are correct there are alot of people that think of stuff but only few to put those concepts into game format. That might explain why they have so little to show as far as playable stuff or ingame screens goes. On the other hand it brings up the question where all the in-depth design docs are when over half of the people on the project are designing and making art - because neither of those two things are abundant in their presentation.
Brad already addressed this is issue in this thread.

Not sure if this was posted yet, but I noticed the class reveal was already listed:

1. Cleric
2. Dark Knight
3. Crusader 1/24/14
4. Rogue 1/31/14
5. Enchanter 2/4/14
6. Wizard 2/7/14
7. Shaman 2/11/1

So 2 tanks, 2 dps, 2 healers, and 1 CC.

If I were Visionary Realms, here's the Kicktraq graph that would worry me:

This graph isn't perfect, but it's not encouraging either. We need more days like yesterday: in-game screenshots, specifics on actual mechanics, two updates on the Kickstarter site, and more clarity all around. They need to stop waiting for interviews and articles to come out and start telling AND SHOWING the people directly their game.

I believe brad when he says he has tech people, atleast in mind, that told him over the phone 'sure man, ill come board if you get some money' while they actively search for jobs in the mean time.

what he has is a motley crew of fellow unemployed 'creative' people at the moment people that were fired because they don't actually produce anything or create tangible products. idea people. the first people I'd fire too.

and that explains a lot.

I wonder what the largest pledge by a single person was to date (for all KS projects). And if someone pledged like 50k-100k to get a project over the finish-line...

That's the curious thing, are the techs he has ready to jump on board for a salary the same people he wronged in the parking lot?

Man this thread grew since last week. Anyway good to see the details on the Dark Knight, but still sad there is no mention of a Necromancer class. Brad, what gives?

Great job flex! Keep the hope. I agree, they can turn this around with more details on the meat of the game.
hope? ehh. either it funds and I spent a month of what I spend on supplements or it doesn't and I'm out nothing. fuck it.

I don't see why people are using the trend to guess whether or not it funds. So many damn Kickstarters get a huge bump at the end.

There are definitely concerns about it funding - but trends, average daily pledges, etc, aren't that important when there's absolutely no way to predict what happens that last day. All we have are tons of examples of projects that had no chance in hell of funding until the last day.

I'm more concerned with the game actually getting funded to completion if the Kickstarter succeeds. Where the hell are they going to get eight million? We still haven't seen a solid business plan.

Yep, all i fucks with is necro's. Did the SK in Vangaurd then realized i hated fucking tanking. Never again. All tanks do is end up leading and taking controll of raid encounters. lol

Their game plan makes it a lot harder to predict. Following the trend is useless. We don't know what kind of detailed info they will drop on the theme weeks. Class week could be loaded with info, concept art, etc... That would most likely bring a decent amount of backers.
