Of course just assuming the counters are correct, I think it is including subscriptions, i believe there was a day when no new accounts showed that did show an increase, but i have that information at work not at home. It's not something i would waste personal time tracking.

Hey bro, deleting negative FB posts and getting the truth out about the"small but determined group that put a lot of effort into spreading half-truths about Brad, the company, and the game"is totally a full time job. Brad probably deserves at least 6 figures considering who he is.

Where should they have been? Brad was the one who alluded to being farther along. In reality they didn't start working until the Crowdfund started. Even then, there wasn't a ton of direction.. A few of them were tasked with the prototype and a couple with some in game systems like climate and travel. There was one artist waiting to be told what to do after emailing brad and getting no response. It's not as cut and dry as you make it. I'm not absolving them from blame because there is blame to be had, but I think you're looking at it like they worked on the game for 6 months and had nothing to show. In reality, they worked on the game for about 2 months.
There were a few devs that drove me insane with their pay to work attitude, but then I realized the only one saying they were working hard and for free was Brad. The rest of the team never had that mindset, minus maybe Tony, Sal and Vu
If work isn't satisfactory, you cut them lose but you honor the contract by law unless otherwise ameliorated in a clause of the contract work. You dont use that to stupidly justify misappropriating over tens of thousands of dollars either.
It is also a stretch to declare "mediocre results" to justify not reimbursing for assets purchased from the unity store that you cobble into crappy video's -after- they're no longer on the project either.
But lets not gloss over the fact that practically the -entire- development team and community manager quit. They werent cut loose for "mediocre results".

What contracts weren't paid? Where is the evidence? I'd love to see it so that I can get on the same page as everyone else.
Who did Brad misappropriate funds from? Is he not the owner of VRI? From my understanding, the original dev team were just employees with stock in the company. Am I mistaken?

Again, it really comes down to who you believe. Sounds like you believe Brad. Sal was close at one point to showing the info but decided not to. Like said earlier, I know Sal(whole pay) Vu and Mac were owed money at the time. I know Brad was throwing some legal jumbo out there at the time as well.
Wasn't it said that Ben was not paid at all? I thought I heard that somewhere. If that's true it's a complete travesty because, according to all accounts, he put in a lot of time and effort.

I wish we could have seen them numbers. Maybe one of the lurking devs would get the papers from Sal and send me them. I'd post them up. I remember Sal saying that the statements would actually make Brad look even worse. I know it sounds like sour grapes to an extent but they took the high road and only came out when Brad baited them if you remember.
I see someone co-opted my lego analogy in that thread hehe.
Also generol said something that a point of clarification could be made on where they stated that some of the team would not want to go through the trouble of taking Brad to court because of costs etc. The amounts contractually owed members of the former team are less than 10k in some cases and could be taken up in California Small Claims Court(SCC is for claims up to 10k). Fees for such are nominal and even more, if ruled in favor of, they can even have said nominal fees required to be paid by the defendant.
Not sure, but I do know that the whole fiasco was enough for him to completely leave the gaming industry, seemingly for good.

You're making an argument that not even Brad is making man. Vu was owed money for assets bought. Mac for a piece of art used and Sal for actual work on the game. Pretty sure Brad acknowledged he owed them money.

Yes you're right. Brad admitted that VU was not paid for the assets and another team member was owed a check. He said all they needed to do was submit an official reimburse form or someshit. He told us that in teamspeak, I'm not sure if it's in writing or not.
