I was reading this thread for the interest factor...considering kids maybe soon. On the subject of baby gates, I'm a twin and my mother tells me that when she had them we learned that if one of us knelt on the floor the other could use him as a ladder to climb the gate....little Macgyvers (I think my mum used the term "little terrors" heh). Something to look forward to if you have twins

So you can sell items based on trademarked property on Etsy? I honestly have no clue, I've heard of the site but I've never seen it. Do people sell stuff with pro and college sports logos? My wife knits, she's knitted college-logo stuff for family and friends before, would be badass if she could sell it for profit without getting a letter from a lawyer...

Yeah, I don't know the legality of it but people do. That's my wife's other big thing, sports team stuff like hairbows, keychains, etc.

So my baby is turning into a kid. She's turning one in a week and she went from a baby who can sit up, to a baby who can crawl to a kid who can walk in a heartbeat. I know find her doing little kid things now which is amazing to me. Like today she picked up her blanket and peaked around it. It's real subtle things like that you realize she's not a baby anymore.

No talking yet though.

It is part awesome and part WTF he's a little person! when they make that transition. My son understands me (or my intentions) now when I talk to him. Like when he brings out the dog bowl full of food into the living room I ask him to put it back in the kitchen - and he picks it right back up and puts it right where he got it. Sounds silly, but that seems like such a huge thing to me.
