Also, glad other folks are finding joy with the snuza. My kiddo is 9 months and I am scheming on how to use it til he's two.

I had a friend whose kid had a helmet due to plagiocephaly recently.....one day she was in the checkout line at target and the woman behind her had a small child and asked why friend's baby was wearing a helmet.

Woman says to her child "Probably retarded."

To this day I don't understand how my friend didn't light that woman on fire.
This is exactly what I posted happened to us except replace Target with whatever grocery store we were at... probably Jewel.

heh I must have missed your post somehow. Maybe your moron woman at Jewel had a cousin in VA or something.

Then again, I think she said it was in Manassas or out that way some direction.

Kid is doing really well now - PT helps. A lot.

Mine has been able to fully walk for a couple months now, and what's fun is teaching him boundaries. We have stairs in the house, and they are a death trap, of course. But he knows when someone is upstairs, and gets mad when he can't go up the stairs. He looks at me, looks back at the stairs, does a little mad cry/whine thing, looks back at me, at the stairs. I just keep telling him No!

Then he gets his cute grumpy face going and I can hardly resist! lol

And now comes the days of baby gates. Everywhere.

I'm so looking forward to getting rid of the last of our baby gates when we move next month.

So far since our kid is only crawling and standing w/something to hold on to, we've just been putting our ottoman in front of the stairs, he's not strong enough to move it. Pretty soon though he's going to be big enough to climb it and then we'll have to go to a baby gate.

Pro tip that several people have told me...buy a pet gate instead of a baby gate. The same companies generally make both, and they're the exact same gates, but the "baby" version will be more expensive.

I can't wait for the baby gates to be done with. My youngest turns two in a week, still more baby gate time unfortunately. Well that and my 3 year old is a crazy little sneak and will sneak downstairs to get into god knows what at 5 in the morning while everyone else is sleeping.

The gate we have at the top of our stairs is a "pet" gate, but it is like 40" tall so we went for it. It has a small inner door that you can open, like if you wanted to give a cat access, but that was easy enough to shut and lock down.

I have one still in a car seat.

I have twin 13 year old girls who are not yet dating, but are certainly noticing boys these days.

God help me.

Yeah mines turbo crawling everywhere.....part of the reason I cant wait to get out of the house. We have three sets of stairs in one (of course main) room in the townhome. One of which is slats. 1 level apartment (until we find a house to put baby gates up in) here we come!

Kid can walk all over with the walker and pulls up on everything....WHERE IS MY IMMOBILE KID???

I don't know if we have just been lucky or what, but we haven't had any issues getting Frozen merchandise. Really I wish they would be sold out so my wife would stop buying it.

Haha thats awesome. I looked at getting my little one an Elsa dress a few days ago and the cheapest I could find was $180. I am so feeling that article.
Check around with some local tailors. You might be able to get one custom sewn for alot cheaper, and it would be much less likely to fall apart than the flimsy crap that my niece's Princess Sophia dress is made of.
