Well, it's been a while since I've opened my wallet, so much so that I think a moth flew out cartoon-style, but I forked over some dough for a support pack and the key. I suppose 4,000 hours in Steam and who knows how many in the old launcher makes that an easy investment.

Great Googly-Moogly, how did I play a game for so long and STILL remain a scrub? That takes skill in itself!

Ive bought a few $60 packs here and there and of course the stash tab BS over the years. well worth for the good game IMO. Gotta feed those assholes so they make more. And they sure did, lol.

I guess I'm going to buy a pack not really sure which one. Not super hyped but I'll see how it goes. I haven't really looked into what to play, probably wait and see what the feedback is.

It doesn't rewind the whole world though, just yourself, which is a thing available in PoE1 and many other games since it's easy enough to do that way and doesn't break multiplayer. Time stop is basically just aoe stun/freeze but with fancy graphics. Pretty sure there's been time based casters in ARPG before although I can't remember one specifically.

I got plenty of games to finish but since they released the EA info and start date I just fell into a gaming limbo. I sit and watch videos and have zero motivation on playing my backlog.

I did play the Necro Settlers league but could not even beat Eater of Worlds with my Lightning Strike guy, zero chance on surviving that fight which just made me Alt+F4 and be done with that shit.

Oh then maybe I misunderstood in the teaser video, really thought it rewinded everything. But I guess with coop that wouldn't really work, eh?

There's 1 skill that stops everything. They don't show it but say there's another skill that brings you back to a previous location including what your health/mana at that location was. Not sure if it only affects you or mobs as well but sounds like a get out of jail card skill for sure.

Yeah but that skills already exists Temporal Rift | PoE Wiki so it's really nothing special, and the time stop is just a forced freeze on everything around, which in PoE1 would be pretty crazy but in PoE2 every other skil has some hard CC that works on everything since they reworked the whole CC systems.

Sucks that I'm not a fan of any of the endgame content, really. I guess I'll probably go Delirium, since that's one I hate the least.

I was hoping for at least one "new" system, but it seems they're basically just squashing league mechanics into each other. I guess the Atlas system is new"ish", but kind of similar to Delve too.

Im sure it will be just like POE and they will have league content every few months which will be the "focus" of the game at that time, including end game. Not sure when first league will drop but im sure it will be soon. The dude mentioned leagues in his interview after the live stream but I dont remember what he said and not about to go search for it. As far as "base" end game shit? Yeah they could have picked some other more popular past leagues, but it is what it is. They were prob in a mad rush to get this shit done and chose the ones they could implement in the shortest amount of time.

Alright, I did my duty and bought the Ogham pack to support them. We'll see if I get around to playing it much during EA though.
