Yeah I saw some major slow downs during their presentation stream/vod. And im sure they are using a beefy ass machine to run it, because why wouldn't they?

I normally will die before I get so many mobs on a map that it causes the game to come nearly to a stop. Problem solved lol. I run 80% delerium a lot, past that the problem for me is more staying alive than the machine. Of course I don't run everything on max and turn down some things.

POE1 is very doable. Probably be harder as a new player without a wealth of knowledge on progressing your build, crafting and what not. However I'm sure there are extremely detailed SSF builds out there.
POE2 we have no idea how the progression gonna feel yet. Could be fine and dandy, or it could be like Ruthless POE (which is like old school D2 grind to progress)

SSF (Solo Self Fund) is a thing and a choice when making your character. So its definitely a thing. Although much more difficult since youre looking for the drops/crafting all of your own gear instead of just trading for the stuff/currency you need.
But most people play solo WITH trade. Best of both worlds.

Saw it mentioned it should run on Steam Deck at 40 fps. Not sure if it will be officially supported at the start but they will probably optimize some stuff as they go.
Also cant help but notice there is not much talk about DEI in this game. That aborted demon baby will probably and hopefully upset some people.

Considering how They/Them some of the devs appear to be I can see some stupid shit being in the story, but I'll just keep my fingers crossed that there isn't. At least character creation is just pick this class and go. Hopefully we don't need to find out how the warriors trans uncle opened his eyes to the joy of mutual masturbation as a child...
Do they generally release the full passive tree before the launch, or is it available already somewhere?
