Have they talked about loot filters at all?

Neversink has done amazing work, but shit like that shouldn't even be required. This is where LE really has an edge over PoE.

They have said there will be full loot filter support, but just like POE1, it's completely dependent upon the community to build the tools for it. I'm sure neversink and filterbladez will have something out sooner rather than later.

Same with a POB update.

They said they would support it the same as PoE1. Neversink said he would need a few months to see how the game works and what items drop etc to be able to make a filter available.

So basically inventory management and drops are going to be a fucking nightmare for a bit. I don't understand what is so difficult about adding in-game filter functionality.

there is. what are you talking about? neversink is using the in game filter. He is just providing an api to fine tune its programming to your specific needs.
Which is in the base game as well.. it just is a user interface.

Also, there is a default setup provided. which again, when using neversink, you are just altering to fine tune towards your specific build.

watching any of the co op runs going around controller certainly seems to work just fine

I know they said they were working to integrate swapping seamlessly for this one.....controller was decent enough for POE1 but in order to use the mouse / kb for inventory you had to logout and change a setting.

Should be much better in this, but may not be available at the start of EA.....may actually try WASD to see how it feels.

I would take a look at their controller UI before taking that dive; it looks bad.
