Brother I would've paid for untold qol by now but for some reason only the Chinese client gets the good shit (loot pets, death recap, AH?).
Started finally trading after getting a 6d jewel campaigning on my melee character. It's so much worse in this then poe1. Nobody coming out for 5ex item let alone 1ex. I'm spamming people selling rares like I did with people selling currency in poe1. It's never been this bad.

$5 for a portal to a Hideout where everyone can pay $5 for a merchant that holds their gear. People can port there and browse each stall like regular vendors and buy items directly off your broker which then goes straight in to your bank.

As long as they have the interface that shows the target vendor on the map once you know what item you want that would be fine.

Just fucking implement the WoW AH and if you have to hire the people from blizzard who created it in WoW I’m pretty sure they were straight white men who are now unemployed in the gaming industry and you can pay their salaries by charging for access.

With NZ holiday being almost over, when do you think the earliest we will get some new patch info? I would assume they have been hearing the complaints, and while I know they don't typically just cave to pressure I would assume some quality of life changes will be coming.
Have to imagine there was a pretty steep drop off once people made it to maps.....
Probably gonna be a while before I actually make it to maps on the monk as I am not playing nearly as often as I did the first few weeks, though it does seem to be a lot faster at least through Act 1.

Even as a filthy casual that never pushes far in end game on arpgs, this aspect of PoE2 sucks.
Ill need an upgrade and alt tab out to PoE2 trade, filter by whatever I need...get like 2000 - 10000+ results, then try to narrow it down....find an item Ill pay for...hit the button to send to the seller I want the item...90% of the time its ignored.
When its not ignored, teleport out, get group, teleport to hide out, then go to social menu several times to trade....resume.
Way to many fucking steps involved in trading.
I completely agree that there needs to be a buyout functionality so that neither of us have to be bothered porting out of a map to go do a trade. Especially items that are dumped for 1-5ex, its not worth anyones time to port out and conduct the trade.
The nature of an ARPG is non stop action, so there is little to no community and no time to build one since no one has a chance to communicate, and if you do...you have to basically stop playing the game.
Even with 20+ people online at one time in our guild, there is very little chatter, as everyone is playing the game.

GGG has been big on player interaction. I don't see it. You send someone a whisper from an out of game website, if they answer you accept invite and teleport, exchange currency for item, gone. I don't see the interaction at all. It's more interacting with an out of game website.
If it's something that is not unique (not a unique item but the same for that item) I go down the list and send tons of whispers. I take the most currency that was listed for any item I sent a whisper and just pay it to be done, sometimes I overpay but it's fast.

anyone else doing this? I use Low tier waystones to plough thru garbage layouts or layouts with no good bonuses like +1, then save my good ones for bosses and +1 nodes. Means you can travel faster, and also u get excess t15s you can sell. Doesn’t really impact exalt drop rate at all doing lowers.

So I just completely redid my life and armor stacking summoner to ES, what a pain in the ass. My gear is all effed up now, gotta juggle stats and resists all over again. Respec'ing is def cheaper now, prob only cost me 150,000 gold, maybe less, to redo a very large portion of my tree.
Anyway, I am only at T5 atm, got to a Limestone Hideout node - oh this will be easy, right? Lost 2 fucking waystones on that pos, it was like trying to break into Plane of Fear for fuck sakes. Thought it was just because of the cold damage on the first one - nope, got mobbed by 2 rares and minions at the entrance again on the second. Ended up dropping to a T2 waystone and STILL almost died. Oh man.
Map design, GGG, do you speak it, motherfuckers?
