rofl I finished on my Warrior melee build today too. My fitbit was like "warning high heart rate while immobile" or something. Shit was intense. I do feel this game was made specifically for how melee is playing it. The balance feels well rounded and progression feels decent. I'd change some things like double inventory space so "crafting" (IE picking up all good bases while mapping) felt better. I wish armor was more useful, would be nice if it counted toward stun threshold, especially since even as a strength stacking warrior I barely break 3k life.
Kripp kind of goes over exactly how I feel about the SSF experience. So far I've only bought a few 1ex items to get me to resistances and trying to get my str up. Everything else I've found and "crafted".
Yeah I was way overleveled on my warrior, and once the guild put a few extra honor resist relics I killed him in 2 hammer of the gods, but that wasn't a legit fight since I was probably 15+ levels over the Djinn.
This one on monk was a nail-biter, actually pretty fun although stressful.....he did the burrowing ability and I thought I was done, got so lucky, haha.
Melee is really fun overall, until something you don't see kills you and makes you lose the juicy map
