Damage and Crit to full life enemies is fun with the dual herald explosion setup, really helps one shot everything.
Have it on a weapon swap so not even wasted stats when it's time to DPS something resilient to it.
Still seeing most builds not using weapon swaps at all.
I really like how I can look at build guides for ideas, but it's really easy to do your own thing without fucking up. Didn't feel that way in PoE 1.

Seems weird to blow it on early access when there's probably way less money to be had. Although maybe I'm wrong and people are spending shit loads of real money on toons that will eventually be segregated to an EA only server.
I guess they probably assume get in while the getting is good in the event it got accidentally fixed. Or someone else discovered it.

So i'm playing casually right now. LOL I am trying to do ED/Cont Witch toward a hexblast witch. Still deciding if I'm going to try the pseudo low life demonform version or try blood mage crit. Leaning toward demonform. That said, Act 1 pushed my shit in. ED/Cont feels weak and somehow 2-button combo approach feels way worse than I remember in PoE 1.
perhaps I will re-roll earlier to try out Gemling or Witch Hunters that also intrigued me as did most things I've seen of Monk.

My stupid Geforce now capture wasn't turned on, but jesus the shit was crazy. Went to do the 3rd ascendancy trial on my monk at level 72. Pretty bad route, room before the boss I got 25% less max honor or whatever.
I ended up winning with literally 176 honor left, my hands were shaking, it was awesome even though the trials are pretty gay.
Doubt I will get the 4th anytime soon but at least that's done with! Goal is to hit 80 on this char and then wait to respec until some changes are announced.

rofl I finished on my Warrior melee build today too. My fitbit was like "warning high heart rate while immobile" or something. Shit was intense. I do feel this game was made specifically for how melee is playing it. The balance feels well rounded and progression feels decent. I'd change some things like double inventory space so "crafting" (IE picking up all good bases while mapping) felt better. I wish armor was more useful, would be nice if it counted toward stun threshold, especially since even as a strength stacking warrior I barely break 3k life.
Kripp kind of goes over exactly how I feel about the SSF experience. So far I've only bought a few 1ex items to get me to resistances and trying to get my str up. Everything else I've found and "crafted".
