That pet I got for buying the $100 pack picking up currency for me would be nice and serve a purpose other than me constantly trying to kill it because I’m scared shitless of a mob on top of me.

Also anyone seen people avoiding death by pausing logging to char select coming back in and loot and map is still there, mobs to.

Pausing is so free right now there's no reason not to do it in any situation that looks sketchy and then reevaluate.

Should not be a news flash but the Chinese have a lot of power in gaming now. In Eve Online the Chinese server gets all kind of shit us western pleabs don't get. 3d Dragon skins for structures, kill mails include logi (healers) that has been promised for non Chinese servers for years and years but boom Chinese got it.

Did any of you try Torchlight Infinite?

Poe2 is new to me so I haven't seen a fully fleshed out game yet, but Torchlight seems to have all the QoL everyone wants and also seems to be a better game than Poe. It also plays on phone on the go extremely well

There are clusters of rare maps around citadels.

And there-in lies the problem.

The vast spaces between interesting landmarks are filled with AUGURY and DECAY and BLOOMING FIELDS and other total shit maps. The total shit maps are way too fucking common.

If they fleshed out the Atlas with maybe different types of towers and more interesting milestones on the way to citadels, it would be infinitely more compelling than vast fields of INFINITE TRASH TIER MAPS.

Also, towers themselves should be interesting rather than shit you throw your worst maps away on.

There is so much shit in this game that they do such a piss poor job of letting new players to the franchise know.

Certain body armors that slow movement speed by differing percentages but are not displayed on the tool tips.

The % values on your paper doll for evasion and armor being worthless and retarded when they could show the flat value

The citadels not having actual visuals and looking like any other dogshit retard map button, so many little things that are glossed over really makes you wonder if these American Inventors are actually fucking retards.

Would love to actually see some patches on this thing, yes it's EA but these dick jamming pillow biters have a lot of work still to do. This game is already pretty good, but it has the potential to be amazing, if they get off their dicks and start doing it instead of counting money.

Made it to 81 on Merc without dying in a self imposed SSF and then RIP twice back to back in a ritual and then breach <_<.

I'm still 10 points away from being able to pick up MoM and then I bet it wouldn't have happened.

Also shout out to all the masochists playing crossbow without gas grenade cheese. It is the worst weapon experience by far. Had to swap to bow with an ice shot lightning conversion (call of the brotherhood ring) once I started mapping cause I couldn't take the 1-5 second "does not fire" shit that happens all the time switching ammo types with xbow. Pretty fun though sucks dick at bossing, but my gear is jank and my bow is only 250pdps so prolly doesn't help =D

Gonna snag some HoWA and see how far I can run this bitch with int stacking and converting the lightning dam.

Yeah I hope they let this game cook for a year at least. I have no faith in 6 month release schedule with all the shit they fixed in PoE1 but let slide here. The end game is just not fun either once "new game smell" wears off. I loved setting up maps and just grinding for a few hours in PoE1. Now I hate having to scout for clusters of towers, hope the surrounding map layouts aren't shit etc.

Path of Building should be out soonish and that will alleviate a lot of the in game shit for how your char and skills function though it should 100% be in game. The reliance on 3rd party tools for everything is Zzzz.

Torchlight Infinite was great, but it has a worse than D4 unskippable campaign so making alts is insufferable.

It also has a really off putting setting.

I tried out mercenary to 26 but not feeling it. The grenades feel clunky and the shotgun etc feels annoying with reloads, does it get better as you level?

Thinking of trying a Ranger instead, any good starter builds for her?
