Theres only 4 nodes that are just for Waystone Quant, and those combined reach 38%. The nodes that impact explicit's actually will do more for way stone drop rate. Reall though you end up taking both, the nodes many people skip are waystones drop 1 tier higher, you can skip those cause map bosses drop a lot of maps at the current tier they are killed on. You just don't run those till you need maps.

I first tried it in a pre-season where the builds were all autobombers. It was fucking glorious. Then when it switched to the actual season, it converted back to having to manually attack; it was such a let down I never played it again.

It's meh, at best.

I changed my monk spec from ice to lightening at level 45 and it’s been a game changer. Went from rage deaths to ez mode.

Really? I like the fast freezing with ice strike / freeze buildup nodes, but my dps probably way lower compared to lightning. Does shocking stun enemies as well?

They die so quickly that stunning isn’t an important mechanic like it is with ice. It feels 10x better.

May have to try and respec whenever I hit a wall. Freeze is nice as a lot of enemies that blow up on death don't do it when killed while frozen, though.

This game is just PoE 1.5.

I feel they had a vision what they wanted to do with Warrior, and how they wanted to tailor the game around it and slow it down and make combat more methodical and consequential and then they hit scope creep and they imported a bunch of shit from poe1 and all their vision got thrown away. That or it started as Chris' vision and he left and they basically didn't know what to do with it.

Its whatever I guess. I don't see the point of having both games if this game is just going to be POE1 but with slightly better graphics and WASD movement.

Dumb question - I just killed my first T14 boss and it dropped a book. I clicked it without reading it, assuming it was Atlas points, but I have nothing extra anywhere. What was that reward?

Blazing through games without reading shit over here.

If anyone feels like using Heralds on any build, even minion or spell caster, you can.

Freezing Mark and Voltaic Mark release an Attack based Nova when an enemy with said mark on it dies. This will trigger Heralds, if and only if, you have a martial weapon in your main hand. I haven't done a ton of testing but it also seems to use the Nova's attack damage (the novas use their own, flat attack damage which scales to absurd numbers with levels instead of your weapon). I'm not sure on that last bit yet because I haven't tested too much in that regard.

This is especially useful on minion builds with Trenchtimbre or with Spell based projectile skills that can be scaled with widowhail.

Boss atlas points. Scroll up above your normal atlas area to the boss area and you can use them there.

Okay another dumb question, because the Interwebs are not really flush with easily accessible PoE2 answers:

What does +1 Map Boss Difficulty mean? It is +1 to the level of the boss?

Finally got all the classes to act 2. One crazy decision they made is a lot of the fun and class defining skills are restricted to level 14. Once this goes to F2P that is going to lose them so many players. The game kind of feels like dog shit before 14 and for some classes before Cruel.

Is anyone having major network lag right now? The network graph that shows when you enter options is spazzing out on me and it's causing the most annoying hitching. Before I start trying to figure out if it's on my network or theirs, wondering if you guys are seeing that tonight?

Finally got 3rd ascendancy done, thanks Cassandra for the tips on the last boss. Had a great path through the 3 trials with no real meaningful debuffs and a couple of nice boons. Full honor 2,100 going into final fight and only got caught out once so ended with like 1,000 honor. Put the Honor resist stuff back in guild vault with I think 1 new honor resist relic that dropped.
