Go away from your starting point in a line, they don't spawn near the middle.
Head towards corrupted areas and corrupted towers with spiky vines on them.
Look for areas with lots of extra buildings on them (tents/pyramids/houses), citadels are like big cities on the map.
Use lower level maps on basic nodes to aid clear speed, like I can do T15 but I'll use T12/13 when I just want to travel. Replace with whatever Tier you have too much of and can clear fast.
I've found three and bricked one :/

I am in no hurry. I just wanted to better understand where they are. Are Citadels set at a particular power level? Example, I use lower Maps to clear towers because they feel like a waste of time to me to bother using a 15 map on(Especially playing minions).

I found my first at like lvl 93, I think I stayed and cleared too many maps instead of just going one way outwards. Wehn I did find one there were 2 more nearby (all stone citadels). Have not found anymore since then.

Took my 2nd char getting to maps before I found the first one, then very quickly found 4 more, one dupe and one of each kind. Seems once you find the first one it becomes more common, could also just be lucky RNG for a change, though.

Putting off all the nerfs until a reset I don't think anyone is going to have a problem with. My concern is that they're going to be juggling an early access league (reset, new classes, nerfs) while PoE1 remains in dire need attention. "Late February" is getting closer all the time.

Not watching but if he said that he's both not wrong/lying and is being terribly disingenuous.
Warriors are actually very strong if you spend some time (in an SSF scenario) farming dex/int gear to start with bows/spells. That side of the tree is actually quite good for most things you would want even early.
But the game and the beginning area of the Warrior section of the tree pushes you to maces and armour and tricks players into going that route. And both of those things suck shit, even in the campaign.
