Thanks to the weapon spec point system I was able to flex my builds pretty heavily and used a lot of skills as needed. Boneshatter, Shockwave Totem, Seismic/Infernal Cry, Earthshatter, Stampede, HoTG, Ancestral Totem and Sunder all made appearances. My final build was a stampede/warcry/earthshatter/HoTG that focused on armor explode/corpse explode for trash and HoTG for bossing. It is no HoI clear interaction, but it did the job well enough.
The mindset that has infested the average POE player where they need to 1 button full screen without fear of death while crafting the perfect piece (j/k they buy it) is so pervasive anything else is "frustrating", "not fun", and "needlessly RNG". It's not like this wasn't true in POE1 as well. There is a reason why the top players only stick to SSF/HC because the actual gameplay is braindead and this game is only one bad choice from being the same from start to end instead of just at the end.
You barely need shit to clear the campaign flawlessly. You barely need shit to clear T15s flawlessly. I had over 2k hp and capped resists by end of campaign and you can see my stats for T15. As stated in my post all I did to gear was buy from vendors. This is literally what I do on all characters. It's less RNG than trying to find drops from a mob and keeps the entire loot focus on acquiring gold so it is fast.
I play SSF/HC (btw) for FUN so I will smugly post my accomplishments throughout the life of this game so that it festers in their minds that they can't do the same even with access to the finest wares
