Death exp penalty needs to go, it’s already way to slow in the 90’s.

Ask yourself, if that's the case, why leveling needs to get prohibitively ball-breaking post 90 then

Game just started freezing my pc on load screens. Only option is hard reboot. There's 2 threads on the EA bug forum with 395+ pages and very little GGG response. It happened to me twice. I'm not going to brick my machine that I just built last year to play this game, as much as I like it.

Same reason -resists occurs throughout the campaign. Which by the way makes no sense at all. In D2 it at least made sense thematically, you enter an entirely new difficulty and part of the "harder" difficulty is that you need more resistances.

Beating an Act boss and then getting "rewarded" when you step into the next act with -resists is just lazy and goofy. Especially when all they need to do, to balance resists exactly the same way... is lower the amounts you can get on gear.

Or just scale up enemy elemental damage.

I know I am not the target audience but another PoE 1 league would be nice. Best league ever (not gameplay wise) was settlers with the addition of the currency market.

They should throw poe1 players a bone and bring back old harvest, recombs and scourge weapons (without the mechanic obv) and put in wisps with sentinel as the league mechanic.

Thinking back to Necropolis and Kalguur I'm pretty sure the new PoE1 league is going to be a bunch of PoE2 assets with a borrowed power mechanic.

I haven't done a direct comparison but I'm pretty sure Necropolis league used the assets from Cemetery of the Eternals

They made a league where the devs were like "ok here's an 80% chance of getting a pretty damn near mirror tier item" and people were like nah cause the coffin management was so bad.

The issue I have with all the shallow leagues with big character power is it puts all the weight on generic mapping and legacy mechanics. I need more wrinkles than that or I'm going to bounce early. Please no more Lakes of Kalandra. I don't care how good the jewelry can get.

No new class is disappointing especially since it looks like it won't be out before MH:Wilds, but in lieu of that I decided to zero to hero SSF Fresh to T15 on the worst class before the changes.

My frowny face fan club says things like "impossible" and that I'm being "disingenuous". I call it a skill gap.



Pre/Post Campaign/At time of T15 Completion Currency (SAD LOOKING I KNOW) & Death Count

Deaths 1 (preventable I played poorly against a prox/plant/freezy boy). 3rd ascendancy complete (never saw a token for the fourth). Zero gear drops (all vendored/gambled for high life then exalt slam for resists. Used around 125). Stopped gearing when I hit T10 as I was at 30%MS/3KHP/Max Resists and let RNG take the wheel. No greater jeweler drop and failed all my lesser vaal corrupts so 4L all the way. Scariest boss at level (forgemaster, would skip until higher level next time esp in HC). Zero issues with map sustain (lots of reforging and mob dense maps to maximize drop chance) though starting from scratch is tedius af. Avoided towers completely unless they were needed to get to a boss. Could have probably knocked out a T15 by the time I was L76-77, but started fishing for T15 drops when I hit T10 maps by spending what was left of pittance of exalts on getting 300%+ waystone quant on my maps and only bossing. I feel confident I could get to where my standard war is within a week if I wrapped up atlas and did some juicing.

Why you should play SSF. We have potentially 10 years of this shit depending on the ARPG landscape. Set yourself up for success now by learning how to speed up your campaigns and min/max your way into red maps while we have the time in a dead league where the only people still farming currency like it matters are the RMTers. Even if your style of play is a copypasta of whatever guide you can find you will be a better player by spending some time now. When you hit a wall you don't even lose anything. Just transfer to trade and have at it.

The SSF is not for me but glad it exists.

The whole point that I feel makes PoE better than D4 is that everything is tradable and I am hunting for that one treasure I can pawn off and get rich and retire.

The Blizzard shit with everything being account bound can fuck off.

SSF is a good alternative if you hate the trade but it would be too slow for me.

In PoE1 I always started SSF/HC and then swapped to trade after I was bored to sell shit. Best of both worlds. It's already too easy to blast/get powerful in PoE2 and we don't even have all the options yet. Figure I might as well keep grinding my campaign time down and see how quickly I can get to end game. This run to T15 was ~32 hours which is pretty comparable to the average players campaign finish currently even with trade. The best way to get rich is to get into end game maps quickly =]
