Another delay perhaps? I am already fairly confident that this stream is not going to reveal anything that has not been speculated or told to us already. Perhaps some new legendaries that might actually add to the 10% of useful ones that exist. If they had actually overhauled the endgame into something that would hold players, it would have been prerevealed in snippets.

Must be kind of difficult working for a company that has to know it is seriously taking on water right now.

It might still be a meaty content patch. If I had to make a guess it's a fucking mountain of nerfs and they don't want people to watch the trailer and then start immediately going through the notes with their favorite streamer. Everything's nerfed, no buffs, no reason to log in. If the notes come out Tuesday people have an opportunity to get hype over what they were shown.

Right. It's a demotivator is kind of my point. They know what they have is going to be a hype killer if they release it early, that's really the only reason to delay it.

Ugh not even worried if they nerf a ton, but when are they going to start making POE2 its OWN GAME?? Porting something from poe and changing the drops doesn't really make much of a difference....

Don't they have a lot of things used in certain leagues that never went core at the very least? Guessing this patch will add Einhar and beast mechanics, but like: give us something new aside from a terrible atlas / tower system.

If they are at the point they are scared of releasing patch notes for a open beta, they need to fire the directors and beg Chris to come back.

They should have been doing constant balance changes for the past 4 months and resetting the econ atleast once a month. Oh no the Timmy's who just finished the campaign last week now have to start again! Was the 3 month league rotation not going to be a thing in this game? Dump em onto "legacy" and refresh shit.

Yes everything strong now is going to be dumpstered. 90% of the player base should not be using Ingenuity. HOWA / Pillar / Whatever should not be the best build in the game. The best builds need to be via some broken interaction of extremely rare drops (Mageblood) + RNG REAL FUCKING CRAFTING + Clever interaction of skills, not "Dur me stack Dex till end of time".

GGG's bullshit around this game is unbelievable. Did the entire team that designed the Settlers league just blip out of existence? I know they are using them since PoE1 wasn't going to get jack shit till the player base turned on them. Oh boy we get Huntress. That will be "fun" HOPEFULLY till you get to maps, see nothing changed and go play Last Epoch.

If the LE guys don't capitalize on this shitshow, they're just as moronic. They have a golden opportunity in wait if they play it right.

They leaked new ascendancies on the website, saw lich for witch before they took it down, tactian for merc and no Druid just Huntres.

Oh and if Chris (ignored) posts some BS about 500 hours of gameplay or whatever.

Hours of playtime is not equal. These games have no ending until you get bored. 500 hours on this is not the same as 40 hours to beat IDK God of War which has massive stories, massive set pieces, characters that were created with motiion caputre, etc. Its not our fault GGG made 99->100 take a month due to low XP.

Expedition changes are solid.
Mount seems like a weird addition.
100 new support gems so hopefully it has some worthwhile shit.
Indifferent to portals changes because I refuse to die.
New currency already is ;`(
Disappointed in only huntress and no more campaign acts.
Really want to see buffs/nerfs and I hope they gut heralds.

Nothing to make me want to jump back in day 1 though.

Yea its A LOT of that, Recombination can fail and destroy the items instead, ascendancies have downsides, higher maps still have one portal, etc.

They are still scared of scaring off Timmy that finished the campaign last week, but atleast they are tossing them all in legacy league so I dont have to interact with the Chris' of the game.

I dunno, I still hate towers. Sextants were removed for a reason and they are being stubborn. The Kalendra and Boss Gauntlet etc are unique maps that are probably stupid rare, so the only "new" constant is Rogue Exiles and Tormeted Spirits which are worse ports then PoE. Crafting if "better" cause you can force essences onto maps and vaal em but its still shallow.

I didnt love the Huntress showcase since Parry is going to be required with seems odd since the goal is to one shot everything. What they didnt mention was improvements to existing maps, which either means they didnt or they were scared to mention any and the maps were turbo aids.

I'll watch Ben or Steel play on day 1 or 2 and see if the endgame loop looks better but theres nothing that is making me want to login. On the plus side im sure this shit is going to last 3-4 months so I have lots of time to decide or go play something else. Patch notes should have been released today.
