Talked to a PoE authist lvl 10 friend the other day. We talked about PoE2 crafting and how it's in a bad spot. He started explaining some craft shit in PoE I have never even heard of, thought I knew a lot of the systems thats available but this was thing nr 50 that is not explained in the game in any way and you probably never even encounter it if you arent a fucking uber nerd.

I just nodded my head and smiled, I dont know what the fuck he was explaining.

Made it to 97 a week ago and haven't logged in for at least a few days......surprised I lasted as long as I did.

Nothing teased so far is enough to get me to start all over again either but I am eager to at least see what they show in the reveal trailer. 🤷‍♀️

Yeah I am curious as to how they think they will turn around the exodus caused by a heavy drought of performance. Maybe they surprise us. Given the lack of general excitement, my hopes are not very high.

Unless there is a major overhaul of the endgame, I'll run through the campaign with the huntress and call it good till the next "major" patch.

This feels like my plan as well. Its always fun to play these things before anyone has theory crafted all the cool shit to the public and you're just trying to make your own shitty thing work.

Well today is the twitch stream discussing the supposed large patch. I have a sad feeling that it will not be strong enough to bring players back. That would take an entire overhaul of the end game. One Class and some tweaks are not going to be enough.

Unless they surprise everyone with way more than we expect it is almost certainly going to be a disappointment. Still gonna watch the stream after work tomorrow like the addict that I am, though!

I was gargling their balls and trusting the plan in Jan but fuck it, they've lost me. Unless its a huge update, multiple classes I'lljust wait a couple weeks and give LE a look.

Just to inject some positivity, I will say there have been tons of times where I haven't been excited by the prospect of a new league and GGG comes in and wows me with their little sales pitch demos. I guess we'll see

Blight would be hilarious in some of these layouts. Some of the best blight strategies in PoE1 involve running it in layouts that are constricted, forcing 1-2 lanes to spawn and upping your Blight-themed rewards(oils and maps). However, in PoE1, most maps aren't ass, so this means you essentially do blight in Sewers. In PoE2, not only are most maps complete shit, they're packed with doors!

I’d like to get back into poe1 while they keep poe2 in the oven a while longer. But it’s been ages since we had a real content update in poe1. When was the last one, when they added exarch/eater? It’s time for some new endgame challenges. Another league is great but that alone isn’t gonna be enough I think, esp if they make leveling the town a pita
