I can't download yet in Steam.

Also, the hardest part of getting into an established game is all the lingo and acronyms people use when talking about it. I have zero fucking idea what's being discussed. Like, is there a class I can turn into a sword and shield-wielding Paladin?

Just hop in Discord when it launches if you have any questions. Think enough of us are vets of POE1 that it should be pretty helpful.

Remember that its well worth grouping with other people. Your skills/spells interact with your group's skills/spells. I cant fucking wait, tbh. I want to experiment with some crazy ass shit.

Technically no, their version is not available yet. (Think it was confirmed that they will have a Templar/Crusader type though). You should be able to make a Titan that is sword and board though. But honestly, who knows without seeing the entire tree.

I bought a key and on the PoE site the only launchers are for consoles or steam, not PC. I did not ask for a steam key and now that option is gone. I know it isn't available for some hours but thought they would have a launcher.

It's a 9pm release for me, will have to stock up on energy drinks and sugar. That's bed time at this age but I will have to power through an all nighter for this game if the servers hold!

Thats the only thing thats going to piss me off. I'm dicking around a little bit on POE1 and Im getting booted on there at prime time. Doesnt make me have high hopes for something with this much popularity.

I would just relax. Those servers are going to get so hammered, you would think they stole some of Brahma's stash. Maybe Saturday, they might have it worked out. I would love to be wrong.
