how far is it from fullgame any ideas?
Their estimate as per a prior reveal was 25 hours for a new player.

The endgame, the crux of the game, is in in its entirety. I'd say this thing may not have all the trimmings, but it's fulling fucking cooked. It's missing Act 4/5/6 and 6 classes and 24 ascendancies, but it's good to go. I'd consider those things being added in as free DLC at this point.
I've wondered if their plan is to slowly phase out POE1 and concentrate all their resources on POE2 at some point down the road.....wouldn't surprise me at all tbh.$480 spent on PoE1 gets you a key. Not telling you if you have spent that much while the EA supporter packs are for sale is kinda scummy. And in true GGG fashion, someone already built a third party tool to shore up the deficiency.
I've spent over $1400 but none since 2022. Weird dichotomy. Maybe it relates to PoE2 development severely affecting PoE1 development.
I'm having an inner struggle on how much I'm gonna spend on the new pack.
Look at the people in this forum giving Blizzard money for their various reboots and rehashes of WoW. Complete abandonment of PoE1 would be a mistake. Given the amount of content in the game, it honestly doesn't need much. Just better shit than Archnemesis, Kalanda, Crucible, Necropolis, and Farmville. ToTA should be on that list, but I can admit it was least a modicum of effort.I've wondered if their plan is to slowly phase out POE1 and concentrate all their resources on POE2 at some point down the road.....wouldn't surprise me at all tbh.
Boat league has been going for way too long, but lets see how it shakes out once EA is underway officially.
They said the game is 80% done in the live stream.how far is it from fullgame any ideas?

It did look good, and most of the end game stuff was taken from POE1 already so that's why I'm thinking they may try and reboot with 2 while phasing out 1.2 looks so good graphically, not even mentioning all the cool content they showed today, that it would be hard for me to go back to 1 after.
thanks, was just figuring out roughly whats in eaThey said the game is 80% done in the live stream.
You've seen how messy and congested endgame PoE1 looks. I care very little about graphical fidelity in these types of games until some developer shows that combat can look good whilst still allowing you to discern important information. There's a reason PoE1 boss fights lean on audio cues.2 looks so good graphically, not even mentioning all the cool content they showed today, that it would be hard for me to go back to 1 after.

Yes, but not everything can fit nicely into audio cues. Persistent effects like ground degens can cue when created but then easily covered up by other effects. I roll over searing exarch runes and other ground degens for this reasons.Well visual clarity sucks in poe but humans process audio cues faster than visual that's why every good game has them since forever and why HC players always play with the sound on even while mapping.
