Not sure how many RR people are playing Murled & Hate but I can check with my friends to see if their clans have room, this much like D3 is much better in a group for XP as well.
@Murked make sure you look at builds on forums and pick something viable for end game. All tank builds can be quirky and slow with low dps but some are pretty awesome.

I don't want to sound completely helpless, but could you by chance link me a good Marauder build from the forums? There's so god damn many of them and I can't tell which ones are good for end game or what the hell is going on lol. I need to establish some type of base.

You can branch out toward your weapon preferences while aiming for +HP nodes, blunt for stuns is very nice especially with increased duration, but just about any other weapon is good too as long as you focus on 1. I preferred sword and board with my Marauder.

D2JSP. When I quit Invasion my bro liquidated our stuff easily/efficiently with D2JSP.
You could also try the official POE forums but that sounds like a good way to get scammed.
So if a skill gem is acquired from a quest and you chose a different gem for the reward, are screwed or is there a way to get that other skill gem without remaking?

They often offer the same rewards for later quests. If youre on ambush, I can give you whatever you need gem or gear wise. I will be back home on monday. This goes for anyone, i have a ton of leveling uniques and snoring bond gems or whatever. Ive been making a new guy every week or so to try out weird builds so theres always something going on.

Gem boxes were a nice addition, to greatly help infuse gems to the market.
that said, I still don't really know why gems are so annoying to get your hands on.
If level 1 gems were a free for all, the market for leveled, and qual gems would still be exactly the same. I do wish it was easier to just make the build you wanted at times.
After a while you of course have a library. but it shouldn't take that long.

Its going to be a one month league right after it ends on July 5th, some kind of special league but no details were released. After that immediately in early August they are going to do another expansion which will kick off the new leagues.
I finally got Atziri last night on normal and holy crap thats a one group or solo raid, I cant even imagine what it will take to do her Uber version. It really got me thinking though about how I make my builds and that I want to try something different in a couple of weeks with the new leagues. I basically am a dual claw insta life leech tank right now with 17k dps which makes things easy but I still get one shot by detonate corpse mobs and phys reflect.
Have any of you played any decent 1h / shield builds up to higher level maps 75+? Thinking thats the path I might go next time but want to plan it in the next couple of weeks.

Yes some cool skills for shield, Tempest shield and Shield charge with melee splash are good times, add a bunch of passives that increase shield block etc to max the effect of tempest shield.
