Check out that build Vit posted on the last page for Shockwave totem, its OP as hell right now and they obviously want people to play it. I just hope your friend isnt a melee lol.I'd like to run complementary totem/summoning build with a buddy of mine, any suggestions on a good direction to go with (class/build/whatever)? Don't mind starting over from scratch, I haven't played in awhile and feel overwhelmed with the recent changes.
There's a few ways you can take this.I'd like to run complementary totem/summoning build with a buddy of mine, any suggestions on a good direction to go with (class/build/whatever)? Don't mind starting over from scratch, I haven't played in awhile and feel overwhelmed with the recent changes.
I'm assuming if you went all Evasion you'd go Iron reflexes right? Going evasion with no armor and no block chance can be pretty dicey.Gonna be rolling some sort of 2H duelist build on the Beyond league. Not sure what skills i'm going to be using yet, probably armor/eva or straight eva with doublestrike as primary attack. Things might change if I rip 3 or 4 times in the first week lol.
Combined with a crit viper strike fire build and that bleeding on hit from mercenary that would be Chaos over time + burning over time + bleeding over time.Viper strike used to do a set amount PER SECOND. It was now changed to do a set amount of damage over 7 seconds. That means if you use reduced duration the set amount of damage will happen much faster.
If it indeed works like that (we don't really know for sure I think, since the wording on the gem is different) it's still not worth a gem slot really. It doesn't give you extra damage, it just delivers the dot damage a little faster. A gem slot used on boosting the initial hit and thereby the dot would be far better, and cheaper mana wise on top.So Reduced Duration may actually increase Viper Strikes damage-over-time
