poe release up to now has increased at least 10x speed. they have stated they want to reset it a bit. it had gotten too fast.

That said, that is always up against people wanting to go fast, and autobomb/roomba.

showcase builds are always trash/slow compared to real builds.

I don't play ARPG's to get a Dark Souls like feel. I play DARK SOULS to scratch that itch.

GGG trying to fix problems that don't exist instead of the problems that are pretty fucking obvious in POE that hold it back from being uncontested #1 ARPG of all time instead of just #1 of all time but could be better.

So are all classes going to be wasd controlled in poe2? I can see that making fights a lot easier but feels weird calling it an arpg without the mouse movement. The bosses are really looking impressive they have some great art /design folks there.

It seems after they added wasd for that one crossbow class, they went back and added it to every class which supposedly is why there was a big delay on the beta. You can still use the mouse to move if you want, you can click to move then target the enemy to cast while walking where you clicked to move kind of thing, but I think it's just gonna be clunkier as a result. I have no big issue with it personally, I really liked how V Rising played and that's basically this, wasd to move and mouse to aim skills.

Agree. As a V Rising fan boy myself, I think this could allow for some interesting combat.

Will this completely eliminate the netflix n farm aspect? Hopefully not.

Very concerned about claw hand. Flasks, abilities, and movement all on left hand feels like too much. WoW was very similar and my hands definitely hurt more playing WoW than PoE.

If they kill flask spamming and only keep flasks for like healing or removing status and shit I think it'd be ok. You can still use mouse movement at times instead of relying on wasd all the time, and you should definitely assign mouse 2/3/4/5 to skills so you don't need as many keyboard shortcuts I think.

I’m not a huge fan of the WASD movement (especially after playing V Rising) at my age but I’ll definitely give WASD and controller a try. Maybe if also use a MMO mouse it may better.

Well, I will definitely be playing it when it comes out. Sometimes I think I play PoE just because there are no better options. And that is a proven thing because I dropped PoE like a hot potato this league as soon as I loaded up Path of Diablo 2 for the first time, and I have been playing that obsessively ever since.

So if PoE2 can scratch even a little bit of the ARPG kill/level/loot cycle I am in, regardless of the controls or speed of play!

You guys complaining need to get one of those razer type mouse. It’s got something around 15 buttons on it and you just have to train your mind to use those effortlessly and it makes wasd games with lots of buttons a million times better (like most tab target mmos for example)

Okay, so I have still been playing a few hours here and there after work......haven't really changed my gear in at least a month, but was doing a ton of 8-mod Defiled Cathedrals for The Apothecary. Using a strongbox / diviner scarab strat, I've actually gotten a nice chunk of currency. My question, what steps should I take to increase my damage without spending every last bit of divines I have. I don't need a ton left-over, just would like to keep a buffer to try different scarab strats and see what works best for next league.

No I meant to include that.....I'd like to get one and see how the huge damage / life addition affects T17s, but wasnt exactly sure what to look for.

Should I go for a 140%+ adorned / 3 passive voices and then just a ton of blue life / crit multi gems?

I feel like I am not good enough as using POB, but wouldnt I lose a ton of atk speed and crit chance with only using magic gems?

Can't advise you on the specifics, sorry. I've never used Adorned. I see it enough perusing builds on poe.ninja to know it's where most builds go for endgame investment.

Generally, figure out which stats your build wants from jewels and then figure out which breakpoint percentages of Adorned gets you to the next whole number for those stats.

Not a bad idea, will see if I can find a build to look at after work - they have to be CORRUPTED magic as well, so maybe I cam get more out of each than I'm thinking.

You preferably want to know your adorned breakpoints before you buy anything cause there's a big difference between 142% and 143% for example when it comes to 7% life jewels. Another example might be 18% crit multi jewels, you get breakpoints at 148% (best you can get) and 145% (2nd best)

But unless you really want to min max i woulnd't sweat it too much.
I got a 130ish % adorned this league start and could never be bothered upgrading it because when i plugged something better into pob it didn't feel like it was worth the effort.

Thanks and I did find a link to a google doc with the breakpoints, just have to figure out exactly which stats to go for, and how many jewel slots I am aiming for. If I was better at using POB it would make it a lot easier, but I think I can figure it out.

Do you have the one with the laser switches? if so how is it? I had a few Razers in the distant past that always wore out and started double clicking. Back then Logitech were really good and my MX518 lasted for almost ever, then it started double clicking and new Logitech mice have dogshit switches and I do not have the patience to switch them out myself. I'm also growing more and more tired of the logitech software, its just garbage these days.

Had 3 of 5 Apothecaries for a LONG TIME and the past week I couldnt get one more, then last night I got a drop that doubled thanks to the chance of dupe altar. Should put me around 800 div with almost a 2 mirror total if I sell all the t17s and such.

Am at my parents for the week but when I get home I'm going to finally try the adorned route and see how well it works for me. Thought about doing omniscience but really don't feel like swapping out all my gear.....guessing the jewels won't be much more fun though.

Seems odd to farm a mageblood via div cards when it costs ~70 div currently. Are you doing some sort of SSF?
