The idol system lets you juice the fuck out of whatever you want. So if you have the knowledge, the time, and the resources it can be great.

Attaining the correct idols and trying new strats you aren't sure about is fucking atrocious though. A combination of the targeted, guaranteed progress that is the Atlas with some ability to "break the ceiling" via idols would be a nice marriage though.

This event was great. At reinforcing conclusions I've already come to. Trading sucks. Inconsistent flasks suck.

More on that second one. I hate missing out on the movement speed from quicksilver and onslaught. I alt tab a lot, pick up a lot of loot(I like to play pseudo ssf), so even flask automation doesn't address this problem. So, what are the true solutions to this?

Some other way to get consistent 100% to 150% increased movement speed

Interestingly enough, evasion stacking with Queen of the Forest and Daughter of Oshabi did manage this. There are other major problems with that build, mostly reliance on idols, but I definitely didn't notice flask downtime.

Any other ways to achieve this? Preferably on the cheap.

The 4s trigger affix is trivial to recombinate to whatever base you want.

But you can also go Scavenger and use the Fulcrum ascendancy point.

Good points. Restless Ward was a lot of fun with Slayer in Affliction league. I miss WOrb.

I'm dubious on recombinators surviving, but perhaps that is something to try for this event since I'm out of builds.

0 chance they get removed from the game after the mental damage harvest did to the player base.

Recombinators will assuredly be in after they've tuned their power several times.

I'd guess it'll still cost dust and we'll still have arcane dust as a currency for... something? It was a great item sink for shit like extra uniques. Having it as the fuel for recombinators and/or some sort of scuffed shipping would be a good idea.

I think it's pretty safe to bet that Kingsmarch is going to go core and the next league will jump off from it in some way.

My wishful thinking, would be easy to do and almost everyone would like it:

Keep kingsmarch mostly as is (including recombinators), add atlas tree nodes for it, and maybe even expand on the town in the future with new features. Add all the phrecia ascendancies to the base game with some rebalancing. Add idol cluster jewels for the atlas tree. Don't nerf LS, buff up a bunch of other skills. Add more chase uniques. Give us a nice juice league, more juice = more challenge for 3.26, easy and doable without a lot of people, then give us something big in 3.27 (before the end of the year), maybe a blight rework too.

I'm not sure about recombinators. It's hard to get a read on new GGG with Chris retiring. And I've never really used them, my Viper Strike of the Mamba build stopped fractured + Essence spam in 3.25 and still had 15M+ uber dps.

However, fuck Kingsmarch. And I want to say the playerbase has soured on it as well. Farmville has no place in this game.

It definitely feels like ass having to rebuild it for every new league/event.

I made 4 builds in this event and never got close to completing Kingsmarch. I think I got to 2 boats and nothing else? It's just so much much mindless map blasting for gold

Kingsmarch is awesome and requires almost no gold farming/upkeep to get what is actually useful out of it (shipments/recombination).

Actually trying to max everything and get rank 8+ workers is for the birds. I ignored anything past like rank7 farmers and recombination. You unlock verisium mining and verisium smelting, you get your disenchanter and farm plots maxed then just send like 20 bar shipments early to Riben Fel for 5 links and the occasional 6 link super early league. Plus really well statted boots/gloves/jewelry.

Its a godsend for league starts and then I ignore it almost entirely without a care in the world. Though I can see people who have trouble ignoring potentially lucrative mechanics hating it because of the absurd upkeep and full unlocking costs.

If the longterm useful aspects of Kingsmarch require little maintenance, I think that proves they should be attached to different mechanics entirely.

If they make you spec into shipments, map runners and farming/mining on the atlas tree, then the people who want to do that can, and then you can have the other stuff unlock easily with a bit of gold you'll earn just running maps. I like the town, and they could expand on it a lot with later features.

Still having fun with phrecia. Just got my biggest drop yet, 2 locks from a strongbox. I already had enough for a mageblood but it doesn't do a ton for me currently, not quite sure what I should go for now, maybe just some OP idols. Also 62% of the way to 100.

Bitch, if your attempt at a "new" ARPG wasn't just a PoE 1 skin suit you are loosely wearing, PoE 2 would NOT have been in the top 20 concurrent users, or certainly not for very long.

You just KNOW Jonathan wants to bail on PoE 1 as soon as PoE 2 can be shown to be able to stand on it's own merits. I wonder if TenCent will let him.

On an actual PoE gaming related note, I was just grinding exp for the last stretch to 95 in a T14 map and had 2 Div drops in about 15 seconds. Thought I was luck incarnate. Then I realized I hit a div drop on an Eater of Souls altar and ended up with 9 by the end of the map. Not bad for non-juiced Eater altars! A little more and I can buy a Voidforge for this Molten Orb build I've been screwing around with!

Edit - Scratch that, Voidforge went from 40 to 80 divs in about a week. WTF. Bought an Indigon for my kinetic blast build instead.
