Trading for idols is awful. As terrible as expected. Getting the setup you want sucks.

However, the sheer power of your farming strats when you get even a sniff of the setup you want is addicting.

If they keep the atlas, and then tone down these idols and let them boost your specced tree nodes... that would be chef's kiss.

If you're struggling with a farming strat and want to map one of the cheap/effective farming strats I use with one of my idol loadouts is to get 2x1's with increased amount of sulphite found and 1x1s with chance to get an equal amount of azurite. Use this with the Niko scarab which is cheap and is a MORE multiplier on top of the increased from the idols and you can get upwards of 7k+ azurite from each node, guaranteed.

Yeah the power level when you fully invest into one strat is pretty crazy, or you can spread out your idols and make bank off of every map having 10 different league mechanics.

That said, I was far happier with my regular settlers build than I am with this one. The price of dex/mana stacking gear makes progressing prohibitively expensive, and the single-target damage just isn't there until you're dozens of divines in. Also I literally can't see shit, so I'm going to have to shell out $13.50 in points for the heritage kinetic blast effect. PAY TO WIN GAME.

Blind prophet lightning strike has been amazing, it seems extremely SSF friendly too though I am on trade. Was clearing tier 9 maps on a 4 link. The only complaint I've seen is that the defenses are a little weak until you get svalinn, but the damage makes up for it if you can avoid stuff and position well.

I agree that the idols are both a pain to acquire but extremely strong. I think it would be cool if they added them into the game as an additional way to customize your farming, though probably with a lot less power and amount of them you can use at once.

Somehow higher maps are coming now so up to T12 and still tearing everything apart.

If idols were possible to craft I like it better than passive tree.

Doing the same. Act 2 was a little rough, but it feels real good after Lab 1, hopefully it keeps up.

Oof, that 50/50 alt gem chance loss cuts deep. I feel it, I played Ice Nov of Frostbolts in the last 2 leagues and had the same issue.

I got another two 50/50s and failed and got it on my 10th lab from a random blue gem hit. Now I need to level in heists which is easier said then done when you have no contracts and aren't doing maps (and couldn't target early anyway because idol system)

Sanctum rushing is going well. Made like 4 divine and I'm not even 80 lol. Great for casual play time. I love that I'm in my chosen end game loop on this character and I haven't even finished the campaign. Hopefully by the time I decide to do a map strat on a second character idols will be cheap and plentiful and I can experience that side.

I'm loving my build, but I agree with other people saying they would prefer to just have the regular atlas tree instead of idols. I hope settlers goes core immediately with 3.26, and that they put some effort into putting out a good league since 3.25 will have run for about 9 months at that point.

I don't mind this being a bit of nonsense but if idols were the default I'd bail and not return. I'm trying to roll with what they're giving me and it's shit I don't really want to do or it's pretty bad without more investment or both.
