Cheers guys. Since I died on mu 88 on beyond I've decided to focus solely on rampage for the remainder of the league. If anyone wants some beyond stuff, let me know (molochv ingame)

On that end, does anyone have a cast when damage taken / increased duration on rampage? My survivability is shit and I really miss these gems

Lol nope But it keeps Orbs of Regret from becoming worthless. Also you earn 20 or so passive respec points just from the quests.

I got up to 74 on my srs'er in rampage before I randomly stumbled upon angry african's stream and saw him playing a ridiculously tubby summoner (marauder) and I figured, hey that looks like fun. At the same time, other streamers started whispering summoner, summoner into my ears and when notable streamers pohx and ghazzy were on the podcast discussing it, I decided to revisit beyond and make a summoner (mainly because leveling exiles is such a freaking pain oh my god - oh and the currency I have)

I was home sick from work so had a lot of time to kill and poopsocked my way to 68 in two days - the level required to equip mon'treguls grasp, an amazingly interesting scepter that halves my zombie count but makes them into unstoppable fire-poppable monsters. They're really, really insane and just walked all over a portal boss that randomly spawned in the first map I tried after getting the scepter. Only gripe with them is that having 4 zombies CONSTANTLY do infernal blow explosions will make me go insane. I hope that there will be some way to reduce the sound of that effect.

Besides that this build feels nice. You got a tanky frontline, some OP spectre's in the backline keeping you safe and it's nice. Definitely recommend to anyone who likes summoners. I used to play one long ago in PoE and just revisited it now, man all the new QoL gems make it so much more fun. Convocation in an unset ring makes it so I can always get them to be in front of me and flesh offering makes them go nuts

Yeah, I'm sitting out till next league as well. Biding my time playing Wasteland 2 and Shadows of Mordor. I've had enough hardcore death for 1 league, lol. Lost 5 different characters all in their mid to high 60s

I'm still having fun! I took my marauder summoner to 80 and I feel the build is essentially done, all I need to add is more survivability to make him tankier, but I've reached my goal and I think I'll mainly keep him for dailies.

I did manage to amass quite a considerable wad of currency though (7 exalts in pure and tons of alchs, chaos etc) so that I decided to start a new witch - block/spellblock arc of doom (kutekitteh's build on the forum) and so far it's AMAZING. At 58 now and am using cybil's paw, rainbowstride, cloak of defiance and am about to put on stone of lazhwar and as soon as I buy / get to 68 I'll add in a rathpith globe & remove the rainbowstride to reach that 75% spellblock. With a 5-link arc going on (arc, spell echo, faster casting, lightning pen and not sure what to use last so I use lifeleech until I get my empower to level 2) stuff just melts and I rarely take damage. What's very interesting is that I run a 4-link setup for tempest shield as well with life leech, mana leech and reduced mana, which means I passively regain quite a bit while blocking which just helps my Mind over Matter to be that more effective.

I think this will be the last character I level in this league though, if it dies or I get bored of it I'll just play rampage srs until warlords of draenor comes out

when I do play I don't really stand around but just rush through ineffective areas and grind at spots that are fast / easy. Like, I'll probably kill cruel dominus at level 50 just to get to ledge quickly where I'll dunk out 6-7 levels and then move on. Now I'm 62 I think and I'll do an hour or two of docks tonight and then move onto mapping extraordinaire!

Plus on this character I had it DECKED OUT from the start. At level 1-10 I was sporting a lifesprig, wanderlust boots, elreon ring, the asenath cast helm, perandus shield and other assorted uniques so that my kill speed was extreme. Soon as I got level 19 I had an 18% quality arc waiting for me and the second I got level 31, I ran a 6-link tabula rasa with arc, spell echo, faster casting, lightning penetration, life steal and reduced mana. Tank everything and zap everything

Yup, getting a tabula/goldrim/perandus is an easy way to cruise through till merc

Searing Bond, Poison Arrow, and other skills too are really strong to level with and speed you up. There is good guides for the races you can apply to leveling toons.

If anyone needs anything on Ramp let me know, still stocked up and pretty much done other than races.

If ya have a good 1H hammer for level 55 let me know I have been using the same one for about 15 levels so far no luck in crafting or getting one to drop to replace it.

Well I am going to dust off my 74 srs scion which took a nap while I got up new beyonders, if you have something you want to get rid of I can trade for beyond gears or w/e. Specifically trying to get any form of empower / vaal haste but I guess that might be a long shot =)

I have a level 2 empower almost 3 you can have

Herald of thunder looks like its going to be d2 thunder storm.
Spell, might use shorter duration to strike more often?

Touch is likely dom's melee lightning skill.

Seriously? Don't tempt me frodo! That'd be amazing, you sure you dont need it?

I don't need it or anything this league, I just wanted to see how rich I could get. I carried my RL buddies at the start which sucked but I still got rich mainly from Dominus.

@Races! Awesome news I just read the notes looks like points are going to go by achievements inside of the races this league. Pretty excited to see what items are going to be at the +500 range.

well if you say so I mean, it'd be a shame if it was just sitting there rotting right, when I could make an awesome srs'er out of it
