While it's really F2P - no pure gameplay advantages like gold ammo - you greatly enhance your enjoyment of the game with $10 for a currency stash tab and maybe a few more tabs depending on how much you play.

At first I thought your $600 sounds really high, but considering I got a supporter pack most times they offered them that has to be a few hundred for me as well.

I got the currency tab, which is a godsend, and a few additional tabs for like a total of $30.00. I have no issue spending that much to help support a great F2P game. All the other stuff seemed like cosmetic stuff which I don't give a shit about. I didn't spend much time looking for other functional stuff.

Tabs are pretty much it besides cosmetic stuff. I guess you can spend a fortune on hideout deco if swing that way.

I always look at the higher supporter packs and think that it looks really sweet, then I see the price and nope right out. 50 I can understand, anything above that is whale fishing.

I bought a $500 supporter pack and have spent various amounts of money also. Considering the amount of money I threw at WoW, this is a bargain.

yeah, I do wish they would do a better job with lower tier monetization.
skin xfer is shit. one time only, consumables. Many of the $ mtx are shit. the earned ones and limited time only ones of the past are better..

So back to the, is it f2p? and, that is, "yes, it is. " any player will say the quality of life on the currency stash tab, now that has been added, as well as 5-10 premium stash tabs is pretty high, though. Especially if you play long term.
They DO also have periodic sales. Currency tab is atm, 7.50. premium stash bundle 20.00 (neither on sale.)

They release "supporter" packs, every content update. not cheap as people have noted. usually have themed armor/portals/weapon effects for the xpac.

this ones is one of the better ones imho. minotaur is great. will probably get this. "may upgrade to hydra even. though money is tight.. no portal fx this time.

They have also started giving away MTX free for doing challenges within a league. armor, weapon fx, portal fx.



I am not sure how much I have spent in the past. 15-25 beta acess? $20 packs 1 or 2 times?

Probably bought into closed beta cheap as I thought, then upgraded to silver before the end of closed beta?

A note on this, the first weekend of a new league there is always a sale on stash tabs. Wait for Sept 2nd if youre going to buy some(worth buying a few).

For the first time since, ever, went into standard to play a bit. The idea was to progress my masters mostly. get them level 8, as its something I'd never done. And possibly update a classic build or 2. Its a bit funny, as I had noted, recent leagues I had pushed further then previously. My flicker was level 77, my molten striker was 74. While last two leagues hit 86, and 85 with bow rangers. (tornado shot, and coc+barrage.) Older chars even worse. first witch predates act 3, and is only 66 or so.

Lots of stash tab clearly. haha.
The flicker predated act4, and ascendancy, so I decided to play her. also, most gear dependent, so on standard being able to consolidate gear, helped.
I scavanged half the molten strikers gear for the flicker.

Casiadiasa, the raider is the flicker. if you want to look.

Raider sucks. Needs a serious buff. Pathfinder totally shits on it.
But, I did want to see how it preformed. again, it sucks.
Abysuss is a huge damage upgrade, but hurts of course.
Vaal Rapier could be better. kindof want a tiger hook, or two. Rapier predates 30% buff.
in general, the crit is meh. Think I'm at 20% atm. with ice golem up. pretty low, diamond flask helps alot of course. But in general, the crit multi is largely wasted. not enough points to get life, def, and proper crit. Needs poachers for frenzy mostly, life/mana not bad either. I tried temp chains, but was dropping out of flicker too much.

had been running, herald of ice, ash, and blas+poachers. did consider last night, should be hatred+blas+poachers, probably.

she is doing t7 maps pretty easy, but having a hard time with the bosses of them.

But yeah, I can swap to the tornado shot pathfinder, with half as good gear, and just zzzzzz annihilate t10+ maps.

Will probably go pathfinder again next league. want to do a solid melee. But, again frostblades/lit strike likely. Have made more then a few in temp leauges, but always 2weeks or so, and never end game them. Maybe should try poison spectral throw, or the ever op/popular blade vortex.


PT has been going on about decoy totem being OP. did throw it into the flicker build to test it. and yeah, hes not wrong. But, I wonder if ancestral warchief would be as good or better for the flicker. thoughts?

I have never heard of such a thing occurring. honestly, I'm inclined to call human error..
