Would Koam's be worth MORE with the new chest mods now? I don't know, if anything I'd think it'd be worth less than it used to. I think rare BP's go up to like 190hp now, right? I think there's an ES/HP roll they can get as well as pure +hp.

Then again if they've added a shit ton more %life nodes available to people (I haven't looked at the new tree changes specifically) then I guess that raw 500 is going to be worth more.

It's worth more because ES is dead and life is going to be the meta. Demand is going to be much higher in this league compared to the couple previous.

Kaoms also has that sweet ass 40% fire damage as well. Doyani's can be a nightmare, I started in SSF last league and it took me an insane amount of Atziri kills to get one. Not sure if you guys remember but Doryanis used to sell for 9-10ex back in the day which would be wild to see again.

PS Im still deciding for the 100th time what to roll... I changed my mind from ED to SR to Doomfletch TS fml

For me: raider with lightning dash and blade flurry, elemental damage conversion, life based. The frenzy charges will make mapping/move speed smooth as butter. Can switch to Ngamahu's cyclone if I ever get one. I'm way too hyped for tomorrow. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaah.


Hmm maybe frost blades instead. Forgot about the free jewels that you get now in Act 5.

Like 90% of the player base plays in temporary leagues, not standard, especially on the start of a new league (like tomorrow). Temporary leagues have the best/most active economies. And just generally speaking, this game is about leveling multiple characters over time and experimenting with new builds, more so then just grinding indefinitely on one toon.

Mathil alone can drive the price up of an item by using it in a build by 1000% or more. Doryani's wasnt really in the meta and in demand before, its the rarest drop on normal Atziris table so you never know =)

Shouldn't be that bad with cast speed and using shield charge to reposition. Watched Mathil's video on his SR build and it didn't look too bad. Ofc I haven't played SR yet so could be worse in practice.

Yup. Mathil did his meatball spin ngyun build after i had mine fully geared. My gears worth went from about 5-6ex to 30+ ex overnight.

Im a nerd and taking some work off for this starting tomorrow, if anyone wants to group up just add me to friends. I also am down for any map trades, Atlas completion groups, or challenge grinding. RIP sleep this weekend for me.

Actually by the way, Sunder is so good this game is kinda easy on Normal. Is it beneficial to crank up the difficulty? Do most people start at higher difficulty?

When you complete the Labyrinth, which opens up once you reach act3 after you've done the trials, you can select a sub class called Ascendencies. Slayer is one of the Ascendency for Duellist. You get 2points to put into a separate skill tree, and you get 2more points for each labyrinth difficulty after that(cruel which requires 3more trials, merciless which require another 3 and endgame which requires a bunch of map only trials).

There is a lightning dash. It's called charged dash. Sorry if it offended you that I didn't use its actual name. Lightning dash sounds much cooler.

I do play standard but not regularly, usually when the temp league has died down. Then I usually pool all my currency and spend it all making silly ass builds on standard. But temp leagues are the way to go. Mostly for the economy; standard's economy is essentially a rich kid's playground cause the only sales that really occur are mirror sales. Not too active otherwise(like you will never ever buy something that costs 2c on standard cause anyone that plays there most likely only deals with 20c+ trades).

I'll be playing tomorrow around 4pm PST. I will probably take my time to go through acts 9/10. Once I get to maps though I'm down with power-farming in a group, atlas exchange, challenges, etc. so hopefully everyone is ready to go hard this weekend!

Yeah for sure until maps for me, I have 2 semi casual friends who still play PoStash and Ill be leveling with them =)

So fucking hype for this release tomorrow and still going over builds deciding what to start as.

Max HP on a chest now is like 154 or something, not 190, unless they changed the numbers since they announced the new hybrid life mod. I don't think doryani will be too expensive since normal atziri hasn't exactly been challenging content in a long time (and one of the Mathil videos I watched the other day he seemed to think that the bosses in atziri didn't get the HP increases that regular map bosses got). I'm sure it will have some value if people will want to use it for a variety of builds but it's not going to be some 10ex super item. Kaom's price will go up but I also don't think it's going to become stupidly expensive like it used to be way back in the day.

I was thinking today about whether I wanted to start with wild strike but i'm leaning towards arc and/or storm call now since I haven't played a caster char in a long time (other than the crit freezing pulse I messed around with for a few days in legacy).

Is Cyclone in a good shape with the 3.0 changes? I remember the video about improved collision that they showed like months ago, but have no idea if the skill itself is viable after the patch.

People are saying it's fine yeah and feels better to use. It's still cyclone so it has issues like having to click really close to your char constantly if you don't want to be locked for a long time spinning and not so great boss DPS and all but otherwise should be fine.
