Some of them have already joined some of the more accepting pseudo raid guilds. Europa, Lord Bob, etc.

despite the raid suspension, there's a bunch of ex-TMO members currently up in Plane of Sky.... ex-TMO members logging on trackers in raid zones.... Zeelot himself was in Veeshan's Peak last night supposedly, post raid suspension. the dust has not settled yet, so i'm gonna wait and see.... but it looks like the climate is changing on P99, and if it does i'm pretty sure i'm gonna start playing here again.
but there's also a strong possibility that another guild is gonna just step in and start running the raid scene the same un-fun way... i hope not. *crosses fingers*
i can't imagine TMO even enjoyed 3AM bat phones for 30second long encounters.... what this server needs is a rotation. not for pixelated socialism, but because it would just be a lot more fun.

Sky is specifically permitted even during raid suspensions.

^ The main reason that I left TMO / P99. Might also have had something to do with me waking up for a batphone Trakanon and my wife going "are you fucking serious?".

I dont think i could ever go back to thinking waking up at 3am for the chance at a dragon i had killed multiple times is OK or FUN. I would certainly think about returning if things became more civilized. This is a really interesting turn of events, i think the server really needs this type of shake up.
None of this solves the server's underlying problem, which is that it has been in Kunark 2 years too long. You have massive gear inflation relative to what live was like. Plenty of people at the top end have multiple characters with full Kunark gear, including Trak/VS chest/legs, and numerous VP pieces, not to mention epics, ragefire-farmed gear, etc. They could release Velious in full tomorrow and so much of the "classic experience" side would still have been lost to the fact stuff isn't rare, and therefore isn't aspirational.
