I was thinking about what dungeons would be like if you only used farmable and PAL monsters...

So assume any of the 5 starters... Titan, Vampire, Healer Girls, Rippers, Rainbow Keeper, RBG Golems... + whatever special dungeons are beatable with dropped monsters such as:

With the restriction of using 5 stones to continue max:
Without Toy Dragons I dont think 2 Hero would be possible

Without Godin, Hera would be impossible.

Zues would be possible for a monodark burst team at the 5 stone limit...

Valk might be possible

All the mech dragons, legendary, ancient, and sky etc dragons would be doable

So aside from Hera and 2Hero what can't be done with a farmed team?


JP Server has an option to do dungeon WITHOUT a helper (or at least thats what I think that button at the bottom of helper select means) Not sure if its on every dungeon but I remember seeing it on the conditionals at least...

So what's the legendary mechdragon dungeon take to get through, my account has really stalled out since I don't have a setup with appreciable hp through good multiplier leaders yet, I'm working on the green team, but my paravati is still a ways off, and I spend a huge bulk of my time leveling all the blue shit in my box.

Boss hits for about 5900, everything else is pretty gravy, with the exception of the usual 5 devils.

I'd say if you have a monodark team with 20khp+ or anything that's 50% light resist, you can sleepwalk thru it.

Hey! Back in the good old days, no-one did this with the new fangled 16.5k green odin teams. Resolve works, it just makes you hate life ;p

If you count valk as farmable, you can actually do it at a decent clip with valk, siren, lilith, 2x echidna.

That's what I like about those "team Builds" on fucking PDX.

Like, here's all you need to do Zeus -- A Zeus leader, 4 Zeus subs, and a Zeus helper. Or there's one like that for the Rainbow Keeper too. As long as you have 4 rainbow keepers, the rainbow keeper is EZ MOAD!

And then, like shitheads, they don't allow you to downvote retarded builds like that. Like the one I saw for the ancient water tri color that contained 2 dark subs, and then 2 resist leads. Yeah, good fucking luck killing anything with that.

The requirements for this experiment are...

Given whatever team you can farm up from dungeons on the US Side... what content is actually doable?

I use 5 stones as the cutoff because its a legitimate amount of continues for high level dungeons.

This means... if you can clear Hera with a farmed zombie team... then you can add hera to other builds...
if you can clear Valk with a farmed team, then you can add valk to other builds... but you should probably mention the build you would use to beat valk as a zombie team cannot do it in less than 5 stones.

I beat hera with a Valk Zombie team. It was ridiculously stressful. Moreso than double anubis fights. But I guess hera is doable with any zombie team. But adding hera to any team does not allow you to do content you previously couldn't.

So I guess the list of content that a nonREM nonIAP team cannot do is VERY small:
Zues, Valk, 2Hero's, Legendary Blue Wheat, maybe some of the other Legendary Special Dungeons (but they can still get the droppable monster just from a lower difficulty setting).

If anyone can think of a farmable team to beat 2Heros and Valk let me know, though a team with 3 max skilled echidnas with 6 pets all at 297 shouldnt really count for this

I finally max skilled my blue ancient dragon.

He dinged level 71 from only eating other ancient dragons. I love the skill up rate...

"The Goddess Descended" - "Holy Goddess - Mythical" is Valkyrie

"Hera Descended" - "Goddess of the Darkness - Legend" is Hera.

I can put up my Anubis or Amaterasu or whatever else someone requests... let me know.

I will be doing a double Anubis Valk run in about 4 hours when my stam hits 50. So hopefully someone can put up an anubis for me to use at that time

Yeah I'll leave both anubis up for the night. Sorry they are low level, but haven't really been a priority.

On the bright side, I killed valk with dual anubis - took 5 stones, all of them on the two demons, I got maybe 20% success rate on 10 hit combos, which was kind of frustrating watching slow wear off, and then rainbow keeper guard wear off, and then continuing with 9 hit combo, insta killed, stone, 8 hit combo, insta killed, stone etc. Valk herself took 3 attempts to get a 10 hit, the first one saved by her buffing herself, the second one to her being nice enough to use a normal attack.

I spose it's a sensible alternative to using a rare pull, given the number of dupes, it still feels kind of cheap though. I wonder if anubis is going to feel the nerf bat, or whether they like baiting people into risking stones for the big combo ;p

P.s. DF, I am still convinced you must be either batman, or the luckiest man alive ;p

I'd guess the number of people that can do it with any consistency is vastly outweighed by the people using stones to pull it off.

There's videos of people that pull it off pretty reliably, no reason to think it's luck or something.

I just can't see how - a single stone of the wrong color anywhere on the board means the most combos you can make by matching every single thing on the board is 8. You then have to pray that you get at least two matches in the falling screen - it's not hugely unlikely, but it's not like it's better than 50% either. That's the luck part. The batman part is matching every single thing on the screen in groups of 3.

A lot of it is a combination of the Neo style Matrix vision plus perfect use of sub skills.

I sure as fuck can not manage it. Not even close. But I am rubbish at this game. I watchtubegameplayer's videosand one of the big things that sticks out to me is how organized his board looks. He finishes his combos and often has a bunch of 2 pairs set up to maximize the chance of more combos or to set up the next move. I finish my combo and the board looks like a unicorn sprayed diarrhea at the screen.


edit: Actually that's probably more in my head than something intentional, after I think about it a little. And just a byproduct of what's left after bigger screen clears.

Just ran it twice...

5 rounds, 5 turns, 10x+ each time (once didnt match any black orbs but still managed to clear the wave)

Been on a tear today... 100% on anubis over 20 rounds now. Normally I am just around 80% I guess cutlery calling me out got the luck gods in my corner!

I am not batman...

PS: Have screenshots of the double valk win... will resize and upload later.

Guess luck ran out... ran light mech on JP with Horus/Anubis... managed to 10combo twice so far... though I stacked enough dark damage and 15000 hp, so its not the end of the world. Boss took me 12 rounds before I got a 10combo off... 40x dmg still enough to kill him (he was about 75% at that point)
