So I got myself a max level Big Baddie to prepare for 5.2. I'm slightly expecting King slimes to be part of the skill-ups from the collab, so I didn't want to waste any time. Here's hoping I'm wrong, though - as much fun as the skill sounds like, I'm not sure I can afford those stats when my other subs aren't all too high level to begin with.

Never roll outside of a Godfest on the REM. And on the Pal egg machine only roll during a Kings event generally, unless there's an evo material event and there's a good bit of stuff you need.
Or if you are near the 50 roll cap for the Pal egg go ahead and burn some.
And I imagine another Godfest will be coming up in the next week. 5.2 hits...tonight? And supposedly there's an event starting Friday so should come with a Godfest at some point, usually does.

Anyone playing on a rooted Android device want a Green Odin account? Right now I'm not really playing anything but my main. Not able to log on right now for some reason, but when I can I'll post a pic of the monster box. Has ADK, some version of Cu Chu, various dagrons. 10ish stones saved up I believe.
Might put the ADK/Viper account up soon. I liked the idea of having Viper on demand for zombie, but really Lucifer team makes Zombie pretty pointless.
Isis account probably go after that.

Working on farming up a mermaid still, this time on Voice of the Siren for more exp and high dragons. Is a solid 3-5 color team the best option for working towards castle of satan? Rank 29 now, on the forest dungeons for this tier now but my fire guys are lacking.

Umm, no reason you shouldn't be able to survive that, every single decent mono team build can survive 2 divine mask hits, and 5 turns is plenty of time to take out 1 unless you just get extremely unlucky and can't match 3 orbs 3 times... I mean, I guess you could go with a 3x or 4x hp team setup and eliminate any risk all-together.... But that seems overkill.
Just bring any mono colored team with a poison (or 2) to speed up mystic mask wave.
Heh, it's your money, you can waste it however you want, ninjas are decent subs for mono teams, but the toy dragons are a waste, so the event rolls are trash.... But yea, never roll outside of a godfest, you're basically throwing money away... Because agodfest stacks with any running event you're much less likely to get something crappy.
And yea, I'd suggest reading the guides for each of the mono teams and the general build guide on the puzzle dragon forums. Basically you should work on at least 2 different "viable" teams early on. Black and red are easy to start with, but your friends list can be equally as important early on, if you're using a 2x atk leader make sure to make plenty of friends with 2x hp. (Any high level healer leaders can trivialize the game too since they'll just auto-heal every round more than what you're hit for.

Looks like we're getting Valk dungeon Friday. This time with two difficulties(Legendary and Mythical). I guess I'll give it a whirl, have some stones saved up and I think I've got a full squad of healer girls(not evolved etc...). Long term can try x9 team some day I guess.
Most people who say they are using shiva don't mean they are doing a high hp mono red team ;p
Divines can be as low as 3 on the starting swing timer too - turn 2, no skills up, few orbs of your correct color is pretty ugly for most teams.

Looking at the various Technique monsters, I might be able to put a team together. Have 2 Highlander types(1 to lead 1 as sub), Vamp, Phoenix Knight, and for the last slot could either finish up Blue Mystic Knight or level up the green blob for one shot 27x power. Just brainstorming.
