Just watched "American Made" (2017) with Tom Cruise. Only watched it because someone said it's a good DTS-X disc. Pretty sure I've seen it before but remembered none of it, very enjoyable movie

Did the lazy scroll around Netflix last night looking for something to watch.

Geostorm . . . I should have kept scrolling. 3 / 10

It was like a 14 year old kid had the helm of a mega budget movie. Just a mess of things done to get Woww!! moments out of the audience.

The logic fails were massive.

Watched 300 again after some post talking about the Acolyte. Movie still stays solid. The movie works because when slow motion happens in certain scenes their is a narrator talking. Snyder needs to just stop with slow mo

I knew they were sprayed ect. That gif makes it seem much worse looking back. I do remember them doing a 90 day cross fit before filming. Its always funny seeing Michael Fasbender as an extra

dark harvest - 5/10 - really liked the premise, but it just felling apart with a lot of dumb. reading it probably won't get a sequel, it was based on a single novel.

Just saw it as well.

Corn fields can make for some serious terror. This film just has too long a set-up and not enough of a pay-off. Although, no spoilers, you can see where the film is going from a mile away.

I thought this was going to have an "indie" low-budget feel to it, but it doesn't. It fully immerses you into it's 1960's setting. The cinematography is high-end. Some of the acting gets on the hammy side, however.

I agree with the 5/10 rating. Wish it were either more disturbing, scarier and a little less hackneyed.

It feels like (because it is like) 100 other horror stories of small towns and sacrifice.

Can anyone who isn't 15 explain why Ryan Reynolds is popular?

Was at my sister's yesterday and they had red notice playing. Every single scene which Ryan was in was his unending ultra sarcastic smart ass commentary all delivered in the same small range of tone and inflection. Has this man been playing the exact same character since Blade 3?

Anyways the movie was awful. Heist movies don't work when the thieves fall ass backwards into what they're stealing and the people theyre stealing from are equally dumb.

Just saw that Feast is on Prime now. One of my all-time favorite movies in whatever genre it belongs to. Think Evil Dead 2 mixed with something like Legion (except without the biblical undertones). It has almost everything I could ask for in a movie except for nudity, which is honestly pretty disappointing because all 3 chicks are hot, and Krista Allen in particular is near the top of my Hall of Fame hotties list. At least I've seen her nude plenty in Emmanuelle in Space, etc.

Feast is cheesy, over the top, ridiculous, and awesome. If you haven't seen it, you should watch it. You'll know in under 5 minutes if this is the type of movie for you. 9.5/10 from me, only because of the lack of nudity. Feast 2 and 3 rectify that situation, but aren't quite as good (still worth the watch for hilarity though).

Since 2 Guys, a Girl, and a Pizza Place, actually. You're also forgetting Van Wilder. He's always been the same character. Well, except for a few movies that pretty much flopped and no one has heard of, probably because everyone wanted to see sarcastic Ryan and he was being serious.

For me, I enjoy that sarcastic character, but I could see how it might get tiresome if you're seeing it multiple times close together. I only see a Ryan Reynolds movies every year or two at most, so it doesn't bother me. And I liked his character years before he blew up, so maybe that is part of it too.

So Jason Mewes plays Jason Mewes and Judah Freilander plays the same character as in 30 Rock (basically I guess all his characters), plus Henry Rollins.

Okay I’m in. Starting this now.

Yeah haha just got past that scene. This his girl shows up and is introduced as “Heroine, hopefully lasts longer than the last Hero.”

"School of Rock"

Maybe the 5th or 6th time, but it's been a while. It's a damn near perfect movie. Jack Black is better in that film than any Oscar winner in history.

It helps that they recruited really talented kids too.

Great movie. 10/10.

If you guys enjoyed Feast, Amazon also has "John Dies at the End" as well. I highly recommend it. It's a hell of a trip. I even bought the book sequel "This Book is full of Spiders".

I’ll check out the movie. Want a huge fan of the book so avoided watching this, but if is actually good maybe I’ll go back and give it a re-read and see if my opinion changes.

If you didn't like the book I'm not sure you would enjoy the movie.
