Elrond doesn't even have a ring until Gil-Galad dies and doesn't trust the rings. Adar could have taken Galadriel's ring multiple times...Like, why is Elron carrying around the ring? becuase, he needs to lose it to Hadar. Not because there is any scene setting up a reason for Elron to want to carry it around.
this is also why multiple characters just constantly know things, they have no business knowing.
Adar could have taken Galadriel's ring multiple times...
Well it would have been an epic fight, but for starters...Or just done this from the start.

Not sure it would have been worth the attempt to get the ring that close to them when they also have flying mounts.
They could trail a mission accomplished banner behind them as they sky galloped in to the furnace of mount doom and gandolf dunked it from the sky through all the nazguls. It woulda been so COOL.Sauron would have looked at the eagles and broken their will.
Really they are just metaphors for divine intervention from Manwe anyway, last time Manwe fully got involved the entire west coast of Middle Earth sank, so not sure you want the Valar turning up again.
Top Gun: ME. Frodo is now played by the height accurate Tom Cruise. Samwise is played by Anthony Edwards. They could trail a mission accomplished banner behind them as they sky galloped in to the furnace of mount doom and gandolf dunked it from the sky through all the nazguls. It woulda been so COOL.
Not only that, secrecy was of utmost importance. The idea of destroying the ring never entered into the mind of Sauron. You go flying in on eagle and hes going to put every thing he can guarding Mt Doom just so there is no chance of getting in to destroy it. God damn it's just the stupidest "huh huh why didn't they just..." argument there is.Well it would have been an epic fight, but for starters...

The rings of men were crafted and sauron has them. They were clear about that. It was sort of a big plot point. I admit it was a little unclear about whether the dwarven rings were distributed. I thought they were because the king had demanded half their profits and I just assumed the other dwarves accepted. But at the end, they talked about the other dwarven lords being angry on account of having paid tribute to durin. Sounded to me like old Durin had not given up the rings yet. So new durin will probably be forced to to avoid the other dwarves wiping them out.the show is planned as 5 seasons. they still need to craft the rings of men too i think, and also the dwarf rings need to be distributed i think, i'm really unclear on what their status is. the story makes little to no sense if you try to think about it too much - durin knows the rings corrupt, he knows there is a balrog now, and yet seems to completely ignore both points based on what happens in the movies? - but whatever, who gives a shit this is really, really expensive shitty mormon fan fiction.
it still was doing decent on ratings, at least when i last saw on Nielsen ratings it was in like top 5 for weeks but i have never heard anyone IRL talk about this show while people are still talking about The Boys, anime shows, Penguin, Fallout, etc.
