how the fuck do you put samuel l jackson and omar in a movie and not make them bad guys. and why would you give sam that fucked up mad scientist unbreakable hairdo, this movie would have been 100x more badass with bald sam and omar as a father and son bad guy team who hate white people and machines.

This actually looks awesome and you guys are just hating on it because it's a remake of a loved 80's film.

Did you watch the trailer? Samuel L Jackson is a bad guy.

is it me and nostalgia or does the old gun metal blue look better than the tactical black? old color seems to "pop" more on the screen while black tactical is blah.

of course it does. The movie is retarded.
It completely fucking contradicts itself and takes a shit in the trailer itself.

"we need to make the robots more human because they are scary, and people don't trust robots." 20 seconds later. "lets make it black. its more tactical, and intimidating."

so what is it? is the movie making fun of its roots. Generally a cardinal sin for any reboot. do the filmmakers think the original robot cop was a bad design and so 80's that it is worthy of mocking? or maybe, its just an attempt to make the opposite joke about corporate suits tinkering, focus testing, and the like. maybe... but that would require actually being TRUE to the original, and subtly. not ideal for a trailer spot out of context.

And lets be honest, does anyone here give them that much credit? I doubt it.

He doesn't say intimidating... you're just making up lines because you want to hate it so much. The trailer isn't even bad.

If they wanted to "update" Robocop they shouldn't have given him a human hand. They should have given him a hand cannon al la Samus from Metroid or even better a Dues ex his arm. Also the face being pinned on was an important part of Robocop imo. Not just a head with a helmet on it.
